Biography
Greg has a Masters in Science (Epidemiology) from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Masters in Psychology (Organisational and Human Factors) from the University of Adelaide, as well as Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) and Bachelor of Science.
Alongside Greg’s research experience, he has a background in leading and developing new and experienced staff, building a strong and supportive team dynamic, core managerial competencies including budget and account-keeping for multiple projects totalling in-excess of $3 million, liaising with key stakeholders in health services including those with clinical, administrative and consumer backgrounds, and business case development. Greg has previously worked in a Hospital-based pathology laboratory as a laboratory scientist.

Biography
Professor Marion Eckert is the Professor of Health Innovation and Enterprise. She is also the Inaugural Professor of Cancer Nursing in South Australia, Inaugural Director, Rosemary Bryant AO Research Centre and Adjunct Professor College of Nursing and Health Sciences (CNHS), Flinders University.
Marion brings over 30 years’ experience in health care and has a strong clinical academic background. Her background is in implementation science, health service evaluations, population health and health policy.
Professor Eckert has worked in executive and research roles in both the public and private sector, informed health care planning, research and policy through strategic partnership, professional development and effective governance to inform strategy.
In 2025, Marion was the Winner of the SA Health Research and Innovation Award and in 2024 was the recipient of the Sigma Theta Tau International Hall of Fame Nurse Researcher of Fame awarded in Singapore in July, a finalist in the 2024 Health Minister’s Award for Nursing Trailblazer and a finalist in the SA Health Nursing and Midwifery Research and Innovation Awards. In 2020 Marion was a finalist in the SA Telstra Business Women’s Awards and in 2015 was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship and Leslie Fleming Fellowship focused on supporting survivors of cancer.

Biography
Jennifer Barrowclough is Senior Lecturer and Supervisor to undergraduate and postgraduate students of midwifery and PhD students. She has 40 years of experience of midwifery and nursing practice.
Jennifer completed a PhD in Perinatal Science at The Liggins Institute, University of Auckland. Her thesis, titled 'Maternal posture for fetal malposition to improve labour outcomes for mothers and their infants', was a thesis with publications and included four studies that have informed the design of a randomised controlled trial of maternal posture for occiput posterior fetal position compared to free posture to increase spontaneous vaginal birth. A pilot study assessing the feasibility and acceptability of this trial, is currently in progress at two hospital sites in Auckland.
Jennifer is the Treasurer for the Perinatal Society of New Zealand (PSNZ) and co-convened/co-chaired the PSNZ's Annual Scientific meeting from 2022-2025 and the PSANZ Geoffrey Thorburn lecture 2023.

Biography
Professor Philippa Seaton joined the Centre for Postgraduate Nursing Studies at the University of Otago, Christchurch in 2014.
Philippa has held academic positions in both New Zealand and Australian tertiary institutions, and in her current role is responsible for the academic and strategic management of the Centre.
Philippa's main research interests are how to best utilise the health workforce for quality care, and how technology can enhance health professionals' learning. She has particular expertise in planning and implementing technology-enhanced programmes in health professionals' education.
