How might GenAI help you as a classroom teacher?

Presentation description

This hands-on workshop is designed specifically for design and technology teachers keen to discover the transformative potential of Generative AI (GenAI). This practical session is ideal for teachers who have yet to explore how GenAI can transform their approach to planning and documenting their teaching.

Using real examples, you will discover the numerous ways GenAI can alleviate the substantial administrative burden teachers face daily. From automating mundane tasks to streamlining lesson planning and assessment processes, you'll learn how to reclaim valuable time and direct your focus toward what truly matters: teaching and inspiring your students.

Moreover, you will discover how GenAI can be a source of innovative teaching ideas and projects, sparking creativity in lesson design and offering personalised learning experiences. By integrating GenAI tools into your teaching toolkit, you can more efficiently document lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, differentiating instruction effectively, and enhancing the way you provide feedback to students.

Whether you're looking to inspire creativity in your classroom, streamline your workload, or simply stay ahead of the educational technology curve, this workshop will equip you with practical insights and skills to harness the power of GenAI in your teaching practice. Embrace the future of education with us and see how Generative AI can transform your approach to teaching and learning. (This workshop description was primarily generated using GenAI.)
