Keynote: Reimagining Design and Technologies assessment using Australian Curriculum v9.0
Presentation description
The Australian Curriculum v9.0: Design and Technologies provides opportunities for students to use design thinking and technologies to generate and produce designed solutions for authentic needs and opportunities. It supports student engagement in authentic learning challenges across a range of contexts, fostering lifelong learning skills such as curiosity, persistence, innovation, creativity, and cooperation. Hear how ‘traditional workshop’ tasks can be reimagined as design projects that are strongly aligned to the Australian Curriculum v9.0. We will explore how curriculum planning for Design and Technologies can be informed and supported by QCAA advice and resources.
