Collaborative activities to support the implementation of the assessments in the Manufacturing Applied syllabuses

Presentation description

Participants teaching these subjects will have the opportunity to reflect on and discuss:
• item types and specifications
• examples of multimodal response extracts e.g. Visual and written, Visual and spoken, Visual, spoken and written
• the characteristics in student responses that match the ISS descriptors, e.g. making judgments
• QCE and QCIA handbook updates in regard to QA and internal moderation processes.

Participation in collaborative activities will provide opportunities for the sharing of knowledge and ideas regarding teaching and learning in Applied syllabus – Manufacturing.

Required by participants: bring your laptop or a paper copy of an Applied assessment instrument and student response to discuss. Providing these items will ensure you are able to gain valuable feedback from your colleagues during the workshop.
