Registered delegates to either make own way to centre or meet at conference registration desk at 1:35pm to walk to centre as a group. 15-minute walk from BCEC to Cross River Rail Experience Centre, Level 1/151, Elizabeth Street. The Cross River Rail project is opening the doors to its Experience Centre for DATTA QLD Conference attendees to experience real-world learning opportunities based on Queensland’s largest infrastructure project. As part of their Education Program, Cross River Rail’s Experience Centre offers FREE excursion and incursion opportunities for students in an interactive learning environment. The education program explores project links primarily through curriculum-aligned learning resources, as well as project progress information, archaeological and geological artefacts. This exclusive offer for DATTA QLD Conference attendees will include: - Introduction to the Cross River Rail Education Program and Project Overview Presentation - Videos in the Reality Theatre: Experience the 270° Reality Theatre - Project DNA Presentation: Project DNA is a digital model that incorporates the combination of engineering data and mapping to make infrastructure planning more accessible and making it easier to engage with stakeholders. - Albert St viewing platform: Get a bird's eye view of the Albert St station construction site. - Technology Tour of the Centre: An opportunity to be immersed in the learning materials available such as interactive screens and virtual reality.
