Utilising The Woodwork Camp Resources in your School

Presentation description

Target Audience:

- Head Teachers with inexperienced or beginning workshop teachers

- Teachers of Year 7 & 8 - Technology (Materials & Production Processes)

- Teachers of Year 9 & 10 – Materials and technologies specialisations

Finding yourself bogged down with paperwork? Finding yourself doing the same demonstrations over and over again for students consistently absent or not paying attention? Tried of old outdated resources and boring projects? Tired of students not completing projects? Well then this is the course for you.

Aaron Madritsch, a skilled and experienced Timber teacher has put together 5 comprehensive resource packs with everything you need to tick all of your admin boxes and provide students with up to date, modern, engaging and student focused projects and theory work.

This session will cover all the details of the Woodwork Camp resource packs and show you how to set yourself up to have lessons where students know how to read the plans independently, access videos when needed and allow you to stop repeating the same demonstration over and over again. You can finally spend your time focusing on helping individual students hone their practical skills. This is also perfect for Head Teachers with “out of area” or beginning teachers in the workshop who need guidance on how to structure effective lessons and projects
