Stephen Anderson

Biography
Stephen Anderson is a Design and Technology teacher with a trade background, currently teaching at Cleveland District State High School in Queensland. A dedicated member of the Design and Technology Teachers Association of Queensland (DATTA Qld), Stephen serves as treasurer on the committee, while also producing and hosting the association’s podcast, and acting as MC for the annual conference. He is a committee member of the Queensland Pedal Prix Super-Series and event coordinator for the Ipswich race, promoting hands-on learning and community involvement. As the 2024 Queensland-Cooper Hewitt Fellow, Stephen has collaborated with design professionals and educators worldwide.

Carol-Anne is a Principal Education Officer (Technologies) in the Senior Curriculum and Assessment Branch at QCAA and is responsible for the Engineering General, Engineering Skills and Industrial Technology Skills syllabuses. Carol-Anne is also the President of DATTA Qld.

Biography
Michael is a Systems Engineering and Product Design teacher with 15 years’ experience within different education systems and a professional background in Industrial Design. He is passionate about thoughtfully employing digital technology to enable new learning designs, and coaching colleagues in improving their own practice. Michael is currently the Head of the Design and Technologies Faculty at St Michael's Grammar School, and in his role with DATTA Vic, he hopes to support more schools to establish and grow VCE Systems Engineering.

Kobe Perdriau is an Industrial Technology teacher at The King’s School with a passion for design thinking, practical learning and contemporary technologies education. She is the President of the Institute of Technology Education (DATTA NSW), where she advocates for high-quality technology education, strong industry engagement and meaningful support for teachers across the state. Kobe is particularly interested in curriculum development, project-based learning and creating engaging, inclusive classroom experiences that prepare students for future pathways in design, industry and innovation.

Taylor Britton is an experienced educator and leader with 8 years of teaching experience across Arts, Technology, and Vocational Education and Training (VET). Currently serving as Executive Teacher of Arts and Technology at Kingsford Smith School, Taylor leads innovative programs that support student engagement, creativity, and practical skill development.
Taylor has been an active member of the executive team at DATTA ACT for many years and has proudly served as President since 2025, working to strengthen professional learning opportunities and connections within Technology education across the ACT. Taylor is passionate about networking, collaboration, and bringing educators and industry together to work as one in supporting both staff and students.
