Presentation description
3D printing is becoming mainstream with creators all over the world using the technology in daily life, with AI and newer technologies making it easier than ever to use, this has become a modern daily technology.
3D printing can be used to assist the curriculum in Technology subjects and broader subject areas but also as a tool to assist us in creating teaching resources, non-critical workshop equipment and items to enhance student engagement.
Participants will learn the following basics of 3D printing: Workplace health and safety, material types and recommended uses, enriching curriculum and beyond curriculum uses.

Biography
Tim has been a Design and Technologies teacher for 15 years, teaching a range of subjects in junior and senior spaces. Using a range of technologies such as 3D printing to both enhance curriculum and teaching spaces.
