Miranda Daly, a Lecturer at Western Sydney University and Registered Nurse, brings a wealth of experience as a former After-Hours Clinical Nurse Consultant in a large public hospital providing education and support to staff and patients.
Holding academic roles as Director Academic Workforce-Sessional and deputy/acting Director Aca-demic Program-Clinical, she emphasizes the importance of strong nursing foundations for safety, standards, and academic integrity. Miranda remains clinically current by working casually as a registered nurse in emergency.
With qualifications including DipAppSc (Nursing), BN Hons, GradCertHSM, PGDipCC, MN, and recently submitting her PhD at WSU, Miranda focuses on assessment and marking, ensuring precision, user-friendly criteria, and elevated standards. Her research, presented at conferences and in publications, explores topics like assessment grading, referencing, and nurse academics' satisfaction with online marking.

Dr Hongjian Du

Dr. Hongjian Du is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS), a role he has held since 2020. Previously, he taught at Swinburne University of Technology in Australia (2017–2019). A passionate and caring educator, Dr. Du is committed to delivering enriching learning experiences that foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He employs active and experiential learning strategies, including innovative approaches such as design competitions in Structural Concrete Design and Structural Mechanics, which have significantly enhanced student engagement and outcomes. Dr. Du’s contributions to engineering education have been widely recognized. In 2024, he received the Excellence Award in Structural Engineering Education from the Institution of Structural Engineers (UK). He was also named an ExCEEd Teaching Fellow by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in 2023, highlighting his dedication to advancing civil engineering education.

Dr. Yogita Ahuja leads the Educational Design team at Monash University's School of Psychological Sciences. With a PhD in Engineering and over a decade in STEM education, she specializes in curriculum design, quality assurance, and tech-driven learning strategies. An advocate of Education 4.0, she leverages data-driven approaches to enhance teaching and learning.
Dr. Ahuja has successfully managed complex academic product life cycles, collaborating with faculties, strategic partners, and operational teams to deliver high-impact initiatives like Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). Her contributions have earned her multiple accolades, including Monash University’s Purple Letter for Teaching Excellence and the Director’s Award for Transforming Psychology Courses.
Committed to fostering interprofessional and culturally responsive learning environments, she enhances student engagement, curriculum coherence, and work-readiness. Through governance and continuous improvement, she advances higher education, equipping learners with technical expertise and transversal skills for a rapidly evolving global workforce.

Dr Ashleigh Schweinsberg is a psychologist, academic, and researcher with an interest in psychology education, assessment, and intervention. As a Deputy Director of the Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced at Monash University, Dr Schweinsberg plays a key role in curriculum development, academic integrity, and the supervision of teaching teams across multiple APAC-accredited psychology units. Their research focuses on work readiness in psychology, online education, and the experiences of casual academics, with publications in Frontiers in Psychology and the Research Handbook of Academic Mental Health.
Dr Schweinsberg’s approach to psychology education is driven by a commitment to aligning curriculum design with best practices and student needs. Their work emphasizes data-driven refinement of course content, ensuring that teaching methods, assessments, and learning outcomes remain responsive to student feedback and evolving professional standards.
