Dr. Wai-Ping Yau, PhD, is an Associate Professor and currently the Deputy Head (Education – Undergraduate Matters) at the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, National University of Singapore (NUS). She is also a registered pharmacist in Singapore. As an educator, she is firmly committed to nurturing the next generation of pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists who will make positive contributions to improving healthcare. She has published in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored book chapters. She has received teaching awards at the faculty and university levels, and is an elected Fellow of the NUS Teaching Academy.

Hansen Lee is a lecturer in the School of Business & Accountancy at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore. His teaching and research focus on curriculum design, assessment, and the pedagogical integration of generative AI in higher education. He has led the design and implementation of the PAIR framework (problem, AI tools, interaction, reflection) across undergraduate business modules to support students’ critical, structured, and responsible use of generative AI. His work has been presented at internal and external platforms, including Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Education Research Project Evaluation Panel (ERPEP), the Redesigning Pedagogy International Conference (RPIC) on PAIR and generative AI, and the ESSENCE Webinar series for the wider polytechnic education community.

Zeehan Jaafar is an educator at the Department of Biological Sciences, National University of Singapore. Her research interests lie in the interdisciplinary focus of teaching and learning; and in elucidating the outcomes of experiential learning approaches.

Presenter is a PhD candidate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on higher education students’ learning and development. Dr. Quek Sue Ing earned her PhD in Molecular Biology from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Following a decade of research in developmental biology and cancer diagnosis, she transitioned into career advisory at the NUS Centre for Future-Ready Graduates (CFG). She subsequently held roles within the Office of the President and the Office of the Provost, contributing to university transformation projects. She is currently a Programme Manager for NUSOne, a flagship Student Life initiative at NUS, where she continues her research in the social sciences, specifically examining the impact of student life activities on undergraduate development.

Shen Xinhui is a Lecturer in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) since July 2023. He holds a B. Eng. (Mechanical) and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in NTU. His doctoral research investigated low Reynolds number bio-locomotions and hydromechanical sensing. His academic focus lies in engineering education and pedagogical innovation. He specializes in the development of personalized e-learning systems designed to support active learning and student engagement within flipped classroom environments. His contributions to teaching excellence have been recognized with the Nanyang Education Award (School) in 2024. He is also a multiple recipient of the Dr S K Leung Excellence in Teaching Award, receiving the honor for the Year 1, 2, and 3 cohorts in 2024, and the Year 4 cohort in 2025.

Julian C. H. Lee is Associate Dean for Global and Language Studies, RMIT University. He is Co-Director of the RMIT European Union and Australia Trade Relations and Ambitious Negotiations (EUATRAN) Centre of Excellence. He is a member of the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Australia’s Victoria/Tasmania Chapter, and is a review board member of the International Journal of Work-Integrated Learning (IJWIL). In 2024 he received a Learning and Teaching Citation Award from the College of Design and Social Context (RMIT University), and received the award for Conference Best Paper at the 2020 Conference of the Australian Collaborative Education Network (now WIL Australia).

Andrew is an experienced higher education educator with over a decade of teaching experience and a strong record of teaching excellence. He is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management at Monash University Malaysia. Before returning to Malaysia, he held academic appointments in the United Kingdom at Queen Mary University of London, London South Bank University, and the University of Greenwich. He is actively involved in quality assurance through external examining and validation roles and maintains a strong interest in scholarship development in higher education. His work has been featured by prominent organizations and platforms, including the Higher Education Policy Institute (HEPI), Times Higher Education, AACSB, the Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS), and the British Educational Research Association (BERA). Andrew is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a Certified Management & Business Educator, and a member of the Chartered Management Institute and the Academy of Management.

Dr Michelle J. Eady is a Professor in the School of Education, Faculty of the Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Wollongong, Australia. She is a Fellow of both the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA) and The International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching & Learning (ISSOTL), and holds a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). Michelle is a current Fulbright Scholar (2025), the past-president of ISSOTL, and holds an Australian national teaching citation for her work in quality teacher preparation. Her research interests include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), Work integrated learning (WIL), Indigenous Studies and current issues in Education. She looks forward to making human connections with others who are passionate about Teaching and Learning!

Daphnee Lee is a sociologist by training and researcher in education who employs a sociological lens to study educational change in Chinese societies. She has a lifelong passion for understanding how change shapes identities and how people empower themselves in the face of change. Daphnee’s latest research initiative focuses on intercultural identities, values and educational change, exploring how people, based on their childhood experiences, think, talk, and act, such as in their global competence identification in the face of globalization. Daphnee investigates the identity processes that people are inclined towards when negotiating differences, with a theory she developed on identity grafting (IG). As a service to the international scholarly community, she is Associate Editor of the Journal of Educational Change and The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher (TAPER). Prior to CUHK, Daphnee started the earlier phases of her academic scholarship at The Education University of Hong Kong; and Nanyang Technological University (National Institute of Education, Singapore). Her Ph.D. work at the Australian National University laid the foundations for the sociological explanation of empirical work on how people construct and exercise their identities, linking organizational, social, and policy experiences to global reforms and movements.

Samantha’s experience spans the hotel, MICE (Meetings, Incentives Travel, Conventions, and Exhibitions), and education sectors. She has worked in the education sector, sharing her industry knowledge and experiences with the next generation of Hospitality & Tourism professionals. She has a keen interest in exploring pedagogical approaches that enhance students’ learning experiences, develop their skills and competencies, and foster both professional and personal growth. She is passionate about coaching and mentoring young adults to help them unlock their potential, as well as mentoring colleagues in curriculum and subject design. She was the recipient of teaching excellence award and education innovation award.
