Professor J. Aleta R. Villanueva is from the Faculty of Education of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU), engaged in online teaching, academic advising, and program supervision of the Social Studies Education postgraduate degree program. She is also the Deputy Director for Research at UPOU's Center for Open and Digital Teaching and Learning, and the Program Development Associate of the Continuing Education Program, overseeing the development and implementation of non-formal short courses. Aleta has published qualitative research on curriculum integration and inquiry learning, virtual communities, open and progressive schooling, the community of inquiry framework, doctoral research experiences and researcher development and education.

Shivani Singh is a scholar of History with specialization in Modern Indian History. Her research interests are women’s educational history which she has been developing through researching in women’s life narratives and career histories. Her research work so far has been taken on an interdisciplinary character which has given her an ample scope to explore women/ gender studies as well. Oral history seems to her a research area with great potential and opportunities. A new thrust area which she is developing currently is History of Science and Technology in Indian context. Historical and philosophical aspect Dynamics of socio-economic and political developments linked to it. She has an avid interest in exploring the Indian educational philosophies and pedagogical practices. Inclusive education and how it can be practised in various educational segments is a domain where she collaboratively works with her academic partners placed in universities in the USA and Australia.

Judd Siow is a fourth-year undergraduate at the National University of Singapore, majoring in Political Science and History. During his stay in Tembusu College, one of NUS's residential colleges, he discovered his passion for broadcast journalism and podcasting through conversations about current affairs and sports with his dorm mates. He loves writing human interest stories, and exploring Singaporean popular culture. Outside of school, he enjoys long-distance running and is always on the lookout for affordable and delicious hawker fare.

Dr Bhawana Bhatta is a soil scientist and education-focused academic at the University of Melbourne. She specialises in teaching soil science, plant science, and first-year biology. Dr Bhatta is dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments and promoting equity in higher education. Her research focuses on understanding student learning processes and developing strategies for lifelong learning. As an educator, her main goal is to help students enjoy learning while achieving their best performance.

Meredith Hinze is Manager, eLearning/eTeaching at the University of Melbourne. Meredith specialises in learning design with technology, innovative pedagogies, and the application of technology-enhanced learning. She has a background in teaching digital media and online content. Her research focuses on professional identity and the role of the learning designer/learning technologist and she has special interests in supporting the student experience through digital equity, diversity and inclusion.

Jiang-Li Tan is an education-focussed academic in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, School of Biomedical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. He has a varied role that includes learning design, lecturing, tutoring, and subject coordination. His main subject area is human disease mechanisms; however, he also teaches in areas including interdisciplinarity. Jiang-Li has a keen interest in the ways students learn and apply knowledge, and his work in SoTL involves analysing student experience and performance data and thematic analysis to inform areas of his teaching practice and subject design to improve student engagement and application of subject matter.

Saw Hoon Lim is an education-focussed academic in the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology within the School of Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences. She is passionate about interdisciplinary teaching and learning and values the opportunity to explore and highlight the inter-connectedness across various themes and topics. She strongly believes in the collective wisdom of students and is a strong proponent of co-creation, breaking both hierarchical and disciplinary boundaries to achieve a meaningful and engaging learning experience for all.

Michael Coaches Communities In Need For Universal Success with a daily Mantra of, “Serve, Serve Well, Serve More”. With successful behavioral healthcare acumen across lifespan care, he transferred his skill sets to international communities including Jordan, India, Nepal, Laos, Cambodia and China. The past eight years have been dedicated to developing higher education services centered on crafting, implementing responsive curriculum with responsive feedback cycles supported by a Students as Partners framework. He holds a Master's in Health Services Administration, and Bachelor's in Psychology.

Dr Stevie Hepburn is an early career researcher and educator with experience in initial teacher education, interprofessional education, and collaborative practice. Her research explores how collaboration can support professional engagement, teacher preparedness, and well-being within school communities. Informed by Salutogenic Theory and health promotion principles, her work emphasises stakeholder engagement and cross-sector partnerships. Stevie is currently a lecturer in undergraduate and postgraduate initial teacher education programs and serves as the Director of Professional Experience, supporting pre-service teachers on placement. Stevie is currently involved in interdisciplinary research projects and actively contributes to national and international conversations on supporting thriving communities in rural and urban contexts.

Gregory Ho is a Lecturer in Public Health and Occupational Health and Safety in the School of Medical and Health Sciences at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. Since commencing with ECU in 2012, he has established himself as a passionate lecturer whose innovative teaching methods have been recognised by both academia and industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy), a Master of Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health, a Master of Research Practice, and a Graduate Certificate in Academic Practice. He has a special interest in higher education teaching and learning.

Joy Jenkins works in the micro-credential space within Learning and Teaching Futures in the Office of Education, Strategy and Quality at CQUniversity. Her career spans over 20 years in the VET/HE and micro-credential space. She collaborates closely with senior educational developers and learning designer teams to produce micro-credentials for both internal and external stakeholders. Her role extends across all Schools and Divisions, working in partnership with academics, professional staff, and external industry stakeholders to support the development of flexible, industry-aligned learning opportunities. In 2026, Joy’s focus is on embedding micro-credentials within institutional strategies and frameworks, while navigating the practical challenges of governance, enrolment, recognition, and pathways. She has a strong interest in alternative pathways, and is passionate about access and equity, and how universities can better support diverse learner journeys through lifelong learning.

Heather Gaunt (PhD, B Music, BAHons, PostGDip Art Curatorial Studies, GCertHigherEd) is a Senior Research Fellow – Specialist in the Museums & Collections Department at the University of Melbourne (UoM). With over 20 years of experience in interdisciplinary experiential tertiary education utilising campus museums and galleries, Heather currently co-teaches a Discovery Medical Humanities subject for the Doctor of Medicine, and an Art Curatorial capstone subject for Faculty of Arts Master of Art Curatorship. Heather has led and contributed to multiple research projects in Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), both in Australia and internationally, and her current focus is developing and evaluating Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) curricula, including a Health Humanities Global Classroom COIL with UoM and Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and an Intercultural Heritage Global Classroom COIL with Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico, and University of Hong Kong.

Dr Kim Goodwin is an academic and practitioner within the School of Culture and Communication. Kim serves as an Academic Specialist focusing on careers, employability, and human resources within arts and culture. Kim combines an understanding of the arts and cultural sector with a people-management focus.A significant focus of Kim's work has been the development of careers and employability initiatives and research. This commitment is exemplified by the founding and directing of Creative Community Connections (2022–2024), a student-led community of practice designed to build employability skills and connect emerging arts workers to the industry. The community reached 500 members and was recognised with the Dean’s Award for Student Engagement (2022). Kim has written extensively on arts management, careers and leadership in the arts sector. Key research areas include the social construction of leadership identity, leadership reluctance in the Australian arts and cultural sector, and the roles and skills of arts managers in building organisational capacity.
