Dr Rafi RASHID is a Senior Lecturer in the NUS Graduate School. He holds a PhD in Biophysics & Bioengineering and a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences. He has two broad areas of research: mechanisms of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in bacteria and strategies for enhancing PhD education. He has published papers on the role of lipids in mediating AMR in Enterococcus faecalis, rethinking PhD education in the 21st century, and desiderata for interdisciplinary graduate teaching, as well as two recent book and encyclopaedia chapters titled “Blended Learning and Interdisciplinarity” and “Interdisciplinary Doctoral Education”, respectively. He teaches a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including a mandatory Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) course for all PhD students in the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Rebecca Scriven is a Senior Learning Designer at Edith Cowan University, supporting teaching and learning in higher education for over 30 years. Her work focuses on enhancing teaching and learning practice through evidence‑informed curriculum design. Rebecca has contributed to multiple Scholarship of Teaching and Learning projects across diverse disciplines and supports academic staff in designing engaging, high‑quality learning experiences. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is currently applying for HERDSA Fellowship. Her research interests include curriculum innovation, digital portfolio learning, and improving student learning outcomes.

Maureen Tan is a Lecturer in Counselling at Edith Cowan University and Course Coordinator of the undergraduate counselling program. She is also a practising mental health clinician specialising in psycho-oncology and grief and loss. Her academic and clinical work explores existential perspectives of being, drawing on phenomenology and psychoanalysis with a focus on relationships and cultural narratives. Maureen holds a Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy (ECU, 2018) and is completing her doctorate at Curtin University’s School of Population Health. Her recent publications include studies on parental experiences of adolescent sarcoma and the expectations of carers supporting people with head and neck cancer.

Dr Jim Wagstaff has more than 35 years of experience in the technology sector and has spent the last 15 years in Singapore as an educator and entrepreneur. He is the co‑founder of Noodle Factory, an AI-powered teaching and learning platform. Jim specialises in digital pedagogy and the integration of AI into education and workplace learning. He is affiliated with Singapore Management University, the American Association of Colleges and Universities AI Institute, and the Graduate School of Business and Management (EU). Jim holds master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Liverpool and is the author of "AI-Assisted Teaching and Learning: A Generative AI Field Guide for Educators."

Adina Stan is the Academic Head of Design & Arts at UNSW College, Sydney, Australia. She is an experienced educator with over 18 years of expertise in teaching and curriculum design. Her work focuses on assessment for and of learning, the evaluation of embodied learning, and safeguarding assessment integrity in the era of generative AI. Adina has a strong interest in innovative assessment practices, including role-play simulations, dynamic assessment, and viva voce examinations.

Mahnaz Armat is a leading Arts and Social Sciences education professional at UNSW College, a university pathway provider in Sydney, Australia. With over 15 years of experience in international education, she specialises in course and assessment design, with a particular focus on maintaining academic integrity and developing meaningful assessment in the age of generative AI. She brings strong disciplinary expertise in media and communication, integrating critical media literacy into curriculum and assessment design. Mahnaz is deeply committed to building cultural awareness and developing pedagogical strategies that support students’ successful transition into new academic environments.
