Professor Deanne Gannaway (PFHEA) has over twenty-five years’ experience in the higher education sector in Australia, focusing on continuing professional learning for university teachers and curriculum design. Her teaching and scholarship focus on continuing professional learning for university teachers. She is currently the Academic Lead of the Advancing Teaching portfolio in the Institute of Teaching and Learning Innovation (ITaLI) at the University of Queensland, where she leads the HEA Fellowship recognition and university educator development programs. In this role, Deanne works collaboratively to enhance teaching and learning innovation, teaching practice and recognition of teaching expertise.

Lincoln Then James is a Learning Designer at Deakin University with over a decade of experience lecturing at multiple universities. He works closely with teaching teams to design learning resources and experiences for their students that are accessible and engaging. Lincoln is also completing his PhD with Deakin’s CRADLE, focusing on student learning over time and graduate employability. He is also pursuing research interests in assessment, self-authorship and identity development.

Prof Heidi le Sueur is the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Learning & Teaching) at the International College of Management Sydney, where she leads academic excellence, scholarship, and institutional learning and teaching strategy. She oversees academic governance, program accreditation, quality assurance, and innovation in curriculum and assessment, including work in hybrid learning, academic integrity, and AI in education. She has held senior leadership roles in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Germany, contributing to major accreditation achievements and large‑scale educational transformation. Her research and scholarship span organisational behaviour, management development, coaching, transformative learning, and higher education practice, with publications in international journals.

Joanne Gao is a higher education quality assurance and governance expert specialising in regulatory compliance, course accreditation, and academic policy design. With extensive experience across Higher Education, VET, and ELICOS sectors, she has led initiatives in self-accrediting authority (SAA) applications, institutional audits, and curriculum development aligned with the Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) and TEQSA expectations. She has played a key role in developing AI in Education Frameworks and relevant assessment policies at International College of Management Sydney, recognised as emerging best practice in Australia. Joanne is known for translating complex regulatory requirements into practical, institution-wide systems that strengthen governance, enhance assessment integrity, and drive continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Jennifer Lai is a Nexus Fellow in the School of Marketing at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Her research examines the evidence‑based use of educational technologies, with a focus on evaluation frameworks, programming processes, learning design, and assessment in generative AI. She has published in Computers & Education, Education and Information Technologies, the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning, and Professional Development in Education. Recent work covers professional learning, screen‑sharing pedagogies, MOOCs, spatial reasoning, transparency, and sustainability.
