Angelina Yin Fong, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology, at The University of Melbourne. She specializes in the strategic use of education technologies to enhance the learning and assessment at scale, with a particular focus on designing inclusive, engaging experiences that make complex scientific concepts accessible to diverse student cohorts. Her work also centres on embedding essential graduate capabilities within science and biomedicine curricula. She has led multiple advancing students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills to better prepare them for professional practice. Her current research investigates student decision making in the use of GenAI in learning and assessment.

Saw Hoon Lim is an education-focussed academic in the Department of Biochemistry and Pharmacology within the School of Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at The University of Melbourne. She is passionate about interdisciplinary teaching and learning and values the opportunity to explore and highlight the inter-connectedness across various themes and topics. She strongly believes in the collective wisdom of students and is a strong proponent of co-creation, breaking both hierarchical and disciplinary boundaries to achieve a meaningful and engaging learning experience for all.

Jennifer (Lesi) Zhu is a Graduate Researcher in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology at The University of Melbourne, where she has just completed her Bachelor of Science majoring in Physiology. Her academic work has been shaped by a strong interest in how students learn, think, and make decisions in complex educational environments. During her Honours year, she researched how biomedical science students perceive their own GenAI use, including how much they trust it and how they judge when to rely on it. Her work aims to provide evidence-based guidance for students, educators, and policymakers as they navigate the evolving role of GenAI in higher education.

Haeng-A is a PhD student at the University of Queensland researching Evidence-Centred Assessment Design to promote students’ ownership of their work. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Assessment and a Master's in English Language Assessment from the University of Cambridge, along with a TESOL certificate from Georgetown University. She has over 15 years of experience teaching English in higher education, including TOEFL, IELTS, and GRE preparation. Her work centres on assessment design and validation. She received the 2022 IATEFL-TOEFL Scholarship and won the 2024 Bright Ideas Competition for assessment innovation. Haeng-A was selected for the 2025 Action Research by Cambridge Assessment and English Australia, examining AI-mediated critical thinking development. Her findings were shared in AI in Education at Oxford University. She also contributes to curriculum and assessment design and marker training for Senior External Examinations at the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority to ensure alignment between curriculum and assessment.

Nicole Mather is an education-focused Lecturer and Program Lead in Visual Effects at UNSW Art & Design. She teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs, bringing over a decade of teaching and twenty-five years of experience as a senior visual effects artist to inform her educational practice. Nicole’s academic work includes curriculum design, conference development & convening, industry engagement, and research into emerging production workflows in education. Nicole’s teaching in digital compositing and real-time virtual production is closely aligned with current and emerging industry practice and provides opportunities for students to engage directly with industry. She is dedicated to providing supportive and diverse learning environments that foster students’ creativity, strengthen technical foundations, and help develop resilient, lifelong learners. Her industry experience on Australian and international productions includes Avatar, Happy Feet, The Matrix Reloaded, Moulin Rouge, and Hacksaw Ridge. She has held senior artist roles at studios such as DreamWorks Animation, Animal Logic, Weta Digital, and Rising Sun Pictures.

Melody Li is an Education Focused Lecturer in Animation at the School of Art & Design, Faculty of Arts, Design & Architecture at UNSW, Sydney. She explores educational innovations bridging education and industry toward the world’s sustainability goals through inter-disciplinary collaborations. She fosters student teacher partnerships to empower students for community building, personal development, and social impact by adopting design thinking approaches. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Melody is dedicated to giving back to the community by helping students thrive and succeed. She also serves on the Sydney ACM SIGGRAPH Chapter committee, supporting members in computer graphics and interactive techniques.

Robert is an Associate Professor in the Engineering Department at La Trobe University. Robert is head of Robotics and Electronics Research, founder of the RAMPS robotics lab and has developed a collection of robots to explore wombat burrows, prune grapevines and inspect sewers. Robert is also a pioneer in the implementation of escape rooms in teaching.
