Natalie is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and an academic in the School of Banking and Finance at UNSW. She has worked with the World Bank in Washington, DC (FSAP program) and runs a not-for-profit organisation focused on poverty eradication in developing countries. She strongly believes in “Education for All” and has taught in both developed and developing countries across the higher education sector. Her areas of interest include experiential learning and industry engagement, with a focus on working with companies to equip students in higher education to be career ready

Brett Scholz is an Associate Professor in the School of Medicine and Psychology at the Australian National University. His research and education programs are concerned with embedding lived experience leadership in health policy, services, and systems. Most of his research is co-produced with and co-authored by collaborators who work from lived experience perspectives, but he does not work from a lived experience perspective himself. For the past 2 years he has been listed in Stanford’s “World's top 2% of scientists” list, and is ranked by SciVal as the most prolific researcher in the field of lived experience leadership. His research on lived experience led education has been translated into practice, leading to co-designed and co-delivered curricula in mental health nursing in institutions in Australia, Finland Iceland, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Norway.
