Dr Alastair O. Pearl PhD is an Instructor in the Data Literacy Programme at the National University of Singapore and an affiliate at Monash University (Parkville). He completed his doctorate at Monash, where his research reconceptualised the undergraduate teaching of critical thinking skills in STEM through alignment with industry expectations. His teaching and scholarship focus on employability skills development, industry-engaged learning, and evidence-informed curriculum design, including the staging and sequencing of stackable micro-credentials for adult learners. Dr Pearl brings substantial industry experience across the pharmaceutical and engineering sectors, spanning manufacturing operations, project delivery, and workforce capability development. This industry background informs his approach to contextualised teaching, integrating authentic workplace tasks, applied analytics, and professional identity formation for adult and graduate learners. His current research also examines the design and evaluation of scalable employability interventions through sustained academia–industry collaboration.

Professor Mollie Dollinger serves as the Director of Assessment 2030 and concurrently as the Director, ISOLT (Faculty of Health Sciences) at Curtin University.

Angus is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Melbourne Centre for the Study of Higher Education. His doctoral thesis examined challenges in the measurement of wellbeing within Australian university contexts. In his current role he contributes as a mixed-methods researcher towards an Australian Research Council Discovery project investigating alterable factors that impact student mental health and wellbeing in Australian universities.

Dr. Helen Harrison is a Senior Lecturer specialising in Human Physiology in the College of Medicine and Public Health (CMPH) at Flinders University. Helen is the Course Coordinator for the Medical Science Programs. Additionally, Helen coordinates substantial physiology topics, benefiting more than 750 students across various university programs during their first and second years. Helen chairs the Flinders University Student Success Working Group, collaborating with staff across the institution to develop strategic initiatives facilitating student retention and success. Helen has presented at local and international conferences, focusing on student-centred curricula, enriching the student experience, and fostering self-regulated learning. Her leadership and excellence in teaching has been recognised by achievement of a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (UK, 2024) and through teaching awards, including the Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching (Flinders University, 2024) and the Student-Led Teaching Award University Ducks in Teaching (FUSA, 2024).
