Long Li Yann is a media educator and researcher with over 14 years of experience teaching at Temasek Polytechnic (TP) in Singapore. Her expertise lies in youth media cultures, media literacy, and the evolving role of journalism in Singapore’s socio-digital landscape. She is particularly interested in how emerging technologies - such as AI - shape young people’s metacognitive abilities and learning behaviours. Passionate about nurturing critical thinking, creativity, and authentic self-expression, she designs curricula that place students at the heart of the learning experience. In 2023, she was honoured with Temasek Polytechnic’s Teaching Excellence Award in recognition of her innovative, student-centred approach. Li Yann is currently the Course Chair of the Diploma in Communications & Media Management in TP.

Dr Amber Moore is a Senior Learning Facilitator and Subject Co-ordinator in Health Sciences at TUA. Amber works to improve the quality of teaching and learning at TUA through leadership in scholarship with wider faculty. Amber is a published researcher in different areas including work-integrated learning and use of Complementary Medicine in Australia.

Dr Noosha Ehya is a Senior Learning Facilitator and Subject Coordinator in the Faculty of Health Sciences at TUA. She integrates active learning strategies and metacognitive approaches into her teaching to foster deeper student learning. Her professional interests include educational research and identifying strategies to enhance curriculum design and delivery. Noosha has engaged in collaborative curriculum focused initiatives through her leadership of the Scholarly Teaching Think Tank Working Group.

Dr. Dhivya Rajasekaran is a Program Director of Health Sciences at Torrens University of Australia. Dhivya passionate about teaching and academic leadership. Dhivya aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning through scholarly activities through the Scholarly Teaching Think Tank and focusses on staff capacity-building in teaching and scholarship

Dr Manisha Thakkar is a Health Sciences educator and Research Assistant at Torrens University Australia, and Vice President of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA). She specialises in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), assurance of learning, inclusive curriculum design, and academic integrity. Dr Thakkar leads institutional and cross-sector projects focused on assessment innovation, AI capability, and academic development.

Dr. Katheryn Margaret Pascoe is a Senior Lecturer in Social and Community Work at the University of Otago, having recently completed a Teaching and Learning Fellowship through the Centre for Educational Design and Innovation. Katheryn Margaret teaches into a range of undergraduate and postgraduate social work courses.

Abdul Razeed is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Accounting, Governance and Regulation at the University of Sydney Business School. His research explores the intersection of technology, accountability, and sustainability, with a particular focus on how emerging technologies shape the adoption, reporting, and dissemination of social and environmental narratives within organisations. Abdul’s research also investigates the influence of key accounting and economic indicators on superannuation savings in Australia and globally, contributing to a deeper understanding of financial decision-making and policy implications. In the field of education, Abdul’s research advances the scholarship of teaching and learning by evaluating pedagogical innovations in large-scale units. Abdul’s doctoral research at the University of Sydney examined longitudinal shifts in sustainability reporting among U.S. resource companies over a 12-year period, offering insights into evolving corporate disclosure practices.

John Parker is a Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Marketing at the University of Sydney Business School. Before transitioning into academia, he held various roles in the marketing and advertising industry, helping shape the future of some of the world’s leading brands. His research focuses on marketing communications, with a particular interest in ideation techniques that foster advertising creativity and the strategic use of artificial intelligence in planning and creative processes. John also investigates the impact of AI in higher education, aiming to inform and enhance pedagogical approaches for contemporary learners.
