A B M Ahasan Raqib is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Administration at the Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka. His academic journey began as a part-time teacher at IER, Dhaka University, on 18 January 2010, before taking up a full-time position at IER, Rajshahi University, on 5 January 2013. He returned to the University of Dhaka on 28 October 2018. Raqib has held important roles in higher education projects, including leading a British Council-funded project and serving as Deputy Sub Project Manager for a sub-project of the Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project at the University of Rajshahi. Raqib is currently on study leave, pursuing doctoral studies at Monash University, Australia. During his doctoral studies, he is developing a professional learning framework for faculty by examining the professional learning opportunities offered by their respective universities.

Nicole Reinke is a physiologist located at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Nicole has been involved in TATAL since 2019 and is recognised as a HERDSA Fellow, SFHEA and AFHEA (Indigenous Knowledges). Her research interests focus on supporting student learning by developing learning skills and using technologies such as 3D immersive animations.

Robert Kennelly an adjunct at the University of Canberra. He is a pioneer HERDSA Fellow, a HERDSA LIfe member and co-founder with Dr. Coralie McCormack (dec) of TATAL in 2008. Robert continues to support TATAL facilitators and passionate teachers

Dr Dongmei Li is a Senior Lecturer in Pathways programmes at James Cook University. Her work is shaped by a sustained commitment to equity across higher education, encompassing student experience, academic staff, and curriculum. With a teaching background in ELICOS and HASS subjects, she works primarily in enabling and pathway contexts, focusing on culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) students and the conditions that support academic confidence and success. Her research brings together three interconnected strands: equity for CALD and pathway students; recognition and professional identity for international academics; and internationalisation of the curriculum that moves beyond symbolic inclusion towards epistemic and knowledge equity. Dr Li is the HERDSA Talking about Teaching and Learning (TATAL) Officer, co-founder and convenor of the HERDSA International Academics SIG, and a member of the JCU Academic Board.

Professor David Spendlove is an influential figure in education with more than three decades of experience across schools, universities, and international contexts. As Professor of Education and Associate Dean for Portfolio Developments at the University of Manchester, he has played a central role in major curriculum reform and innovation. His work sits at the intersection of educational theory, teacher development, policy, pedagogy, and curriculum design, with a particular emphasis on how emotional, cognitive, and creative processes shape learning.
