Dr Tien Nguyen is a member of Curtin University Gender Research Network (GRN) and an Associate Lecturer at Curtin Singapore. Tien has accumulated 15 years of teaching experience across multiple universities in Vietnam, US, Australia, and currently Singapore. Tien’s research focuses on the intersections of gender, digital transformation and emerging technologies and their implications for corporate governance, entrepreneurship, and higher education. Tien Nguyen is an Australia Awards Alumna. She received her PhD in Management from The University of Sydney and an MBA from the University of Houston in Clear Lake.

Gavin Shin Kang Lee is Senior Lecturer in Historical Musicology at University of Sydney. With co-authors as team members, he directs the University of Sydney SoTL grant, "Uncovering Blind Spots: Inquiry Activation in AI-Based Learning for Music Studies." He is also the leader of three communities of practice: Horizon Educators' CoP, Inclusive Melodies CoP, and Reduce Automated Plagiarism CoP.

Dr Nicholas Charlton is a Learning and Teaching Designer, at Griffith University in the Centre of Collaborative and Education Excellence. He supports academics’ curriculum, pedagogy and assessment practices through workshops and resources development. Previously he spent 14 years as a Learning Adviser providing academic support to students through workshops and consultations. Nicholas’ PhD investigated program-level assessment in the Australian Higher Education sector. He has several publications on program-level assessment and has consulted with several universities implementing this approach within their university. Dr William Nketsia is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Program Advisor in the School of Education at Western Sydney University. He is an inclusive education scholar with extensive international experience across Australia, Ghana, Finland, the United Kingdom, and Norway. His research focuses on inclusive education policy and practice, Universal Design for Learning, teacher education reform, and disability inclusion, particularly in low and middle income contexts. Dr Nketsia has led and contributed to several externally funded projects, including Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Australia Awards Fellowships supporting teacher education reform in Ghana. He supervises postgraduate research students and publishes widely in international journals on inclusion, teacher preparation, and equity. Beyond academia, he is actively engaged in community development and capacity building initiatives in education across sub Saharan Africa. His work is driven by a strong commitment to social justice, equity, and improving educational outcomes for learners with diverse needs globally.

Working in different industry roles for 10+ years, Siamak Mirzaei has gained practical knowledge in most areas of IT, Computer Science, and Data Analytics. Siamak is currently an Online Course Facilitator (OCF) for the Bachelor of IT & Bachelor of Data Analytics degrees at Adelaide University Online. Siamak received his BSc degree in Computer Software Engineering in 2011. He completed his Master in Information Technology in 2016. Followed by his Master's, he completed a Graduate Diploma in Research Methods in 2017. He completed his PhD in Education Technology (EdTech) in 2022. His research interests include human computer interaction, educational technology, distributed computing, online learning, and AI in Education

Amber is a Senior Learning Facilitator, researcher and a Chinese Medicine (CM) practitioner. In her PhD Amber investigated the nature of clinical practice and the perspectives of CM practitioners in Australia using a national survey and interviews. Other research projects are in complementary and alternative medicine use, research methodologies, and education.

Dr Rachid Hamadi is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Computer Science and Engineering. He has taught widely across programming, databases, software engineering, and capstone projects. His research spans workflow modelling and service-oriented computing. Currently, Dr Hamadi focuses on computing education, exploring inclusive learning frameworks, immersive technologies, and process mining in education to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.

Daniela is a registered occupational therapist, academic and researcher. She currently works as the Nexus Fellow at the School of Health Sciences, in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at UNSW Sydney. Her areas of interest and expertise are around mentoring, innovation, programmatic assessment, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is a Fellow of Advance Higher Education (FHEA) and an Associate Fellow of the Australian & New Zealand Association of Health Professional Educators (AFANZAHPE).

Jennifer is a Nexus Fellow in the School of Marketing at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Her research examines the evidence‑based use of educational technologies, with a focus on evaluation frameworks, programming processes, learning design, and assessment in generative AI. She has published in Computers & Education, Education and Information Technologies, the Journal of Computer Assisted Learning, and Professional Development in Education. Recent work covers professional learning, screen‑sharing pedagogies, MOOCs, spatial reasoning, transparency, and sustainability.

Mahnaz Armat is a leading Arts and Social Sciences education professional at UNSW College, a university pathway provider in Sydney, Australia. With over 15 years of experience in international education, she specialises in course and assessment design, with a particular focus on maintaining academic integrity and developing meaningful assessment in the age of generative AI. She brings strong disciplinary expertise in media and communication, integrating critical media literacy into curriculum and assessment design. Mahnaz is deeply committed to building cultural awareness and developing pedagogical strategies that support students’ successful transition into new academic environments.

Maryam ARMAT is working as a Leading Education Professional and ‘Culture and Communication’ Course Convenor for the Design and Arts department in UNSW College. She completed her first Master’s degree in Translation Studies in 2012 and won the School of Education Dean’s Merit Award from Western Sydney University upon the completion of her second postgraduate degree in Teaching. Maryam is a strong believer in ‘learner-centred approaches’ to provide students with unique avenues for learning as active thinkers and critical problem solvers rather than passive recipients of knowledge. Maryam enjoys reading and researching and has seen her passionate teaching style a winner with students.

Adina Stan is the Academic Head of Design & Arts at UNSW College, Sydney, Australia. She is an experienced educator with over 18 years of expertise in teaching and curriculum design. Her work focuses on assessment for and of learning, the evaluation of embodied learning, and safeguarding assessment integrity in the era of generative AI. Adina has a strong interest in innovative assessment practices, including role-play simulations, dynamic assessment, and viva voce examinations.

Professor Patsie Polly is the Director, Nexus Program, Director Emerita and a Scientia Education Fellow, UNSW Scientia Education Academy, Education Focussed Academic, Professor in Pathology, and co-leads the Digital and Immersive Education Research Group within the School of Biomedical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine and Health, UNSW Sydney. Recognised nationally and internationally as a medical research scientist, leading teacher and innovative education researcher/practitioner, she has infused her extensive medical research experience into the classroom at UNSW Sydney to research integrated learning, facilitate student reflective practice and professional skills development. Patsie is an invited international AAEEBL Board member and committee member of ePortfolios Australia. Patsie is an executive leader of the newly established HERDSA Education Focussed Academic SIG.

Dr. Nidhish Francis is a senior lecturer in Human Anatomy and Physiology at Charles Sturt University.Dr. Francis uses a blended learning approach with face to face lectures, online resources, video recordings and other activities to ensure student engagement while teaching. He is a current Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and an active member of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA). He has co-authored book chapters, presented at national conferences and made significant contributions to the scholarship of teaching and learning

Frances Gray is a diagnostic radiographer and senior lecturer specialising in clinical education in medical imaging. She is the Health Profession Education Lead for Diagnostic Radiography at the University of Sydney, where she oversees undergraduate and postgraduate clinical education programs and leads initiatives that strengthen the integration of simulation, workplace learning, and student support. With over 20 years of clinical experience in tertiary hospitals across the Ireland and Australia, Frances maintains active engagement with contemporary practice while advancing scholarship in health professions education. Her research focuses on infection prevention and control in MRI, simulation-based learning, and the development of safe, inclusive clinical learning environments. Frances is passionate about mentoring students and educators, building sustainable industry partnerships, and translating research into practical educational frameworks that enhance patient safety and professional capability. She regularly presents nationally and internationally on clinical education innovation.
