Therese M. Cumming is a Professor of Special Education and Deputy Head of School Learning and Teaching of the UNSW School of Education, Academic Lead Education at the UNSW Disability Innovation Institute, Deputy Director and Fellow of the Scientia Education Academy, and Co-Founding member of Diversified.

Karen Kriss is a Senior Lecturer at UNSW Art & Design, with over a decade of industry experience across animation and visual effects. Her professional background includes senior production roles at Animal Logic and Mr. X Toronto, contributing to award-winning film and animation projects.

Dr Geraldine Townend is an internationally recognised scholar in gifted education, creativity, and twice-exceptionality. A Senior Lecturer and Program Director at the University of New South Wales, she focuses on inclusive, evidence-based practices to support gifted learners, including those with disabilities or those who are neurodivergent. Her research explores academic self-concept, creativity, and strategies for educators to help students thrive.

Habibur Rahaman is currently doing his PhD at the Centre for Aboriginal Studies, Curtin University. He is a full-time faculty member at a public university in Bangladesh. He teaches English studies and critical and cultural theories. He completed his Bachelor and Masters in English Studies respectively in 2011 and 2013 from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He completed his second Masters with a major in Writing and Literature in 2020 from Deakin University, Australia. His research interests navigate around decolonial education practices, unschooling philosophy, epistemic localisation, and human rights and social justice in higher education.

Dr Shaouli Shahid is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Aboriginal Studies, Curtin University. She is a teaching-research academic, has been supervising a number of postgraduate students and also teaches and develops research-related units as part of her role. Dr. Shahid contributes to the Indigenous Community Management and Development, Indigenous Mental Health as well as the Graduate Certificate and Postgraduate programs at CAS. She has been coordinating and teaching a number of research-related units. Dr. Shahid earned her PhD in International Health from Curtin University in 2011. Following her doctoral studies, she received the Australian National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Early Career Research Fellowship. Her research interests encompass Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially within community settings, bottom-up approaches, Indigenous health and education pedagogies, and health services research. 

Sahaya Jesto is an experienced academic and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) with over fifteen years of experience across higher education teaching, curriculum development, assessment design, and academic quality assurance. Her work is informed by evidence-based pedagogy, reflective practice, and a strong commitment to student-centred learning within complex higher education environments. Sahaya has contributed to curriculum innovation, assessment moderation, and program coordination across multiple Australian institutions, supporting alignment with accreditation standards and contemporary educational practice. Her academic practice engages with assessment feedback, academic judgement, and integrity and quality-assurance processes within higher education. Sahaya is committed to strengthening teaching capability, consistency, and confidence in academic practice. Through her work, she aims to support sustainable, ethical, and high-quality learning environments that enhance academic practice.

Dr Eugenia Koh-Chua is an early career researcher and lecturer in Early Childhood Education at Victoria University. With nearly two decades of tertiary teaching experience across Australia and Singapore, Dr Koh-Chua's research focuses on educational equity, family partnerships, and improving initial teacher education in early childhood. Her work with families, children, teachers, and educational leaders directly informs her research in Initial Teacher Education programs. Beyond academia, Dr Koh-Chua is an active public voice on education and parenting, having been invited by Channel NewsAsia and NewsRadio in Singapore to provide expert commentary on competitive parenting and parental involvement in children’s educational goals. She co-founded Playvocates in Action, which organises pop-up adventure playgrounds in Singapore, and also founded the Sensory Processing Awareness Group Singapore, which promotes social inclusion and supports families of neurodivergent children through education and community engagement.
