Jisun Jung is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong. Her research interests include the academic profession, doctoral education, master's education, and graduate employability, primarily within the East Asian context. She serves as Co-Editor-in-Chief of Higher Education Research & Development.

Rachel Fitzgerald is an Associate Professor (Management) and Principal Practitioner for Teaching Impact at The University of Queensland, where she provides strategic leadership in teaching quality, curriculum innovation, and the scholarship of teaching and learning. She is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, recognised for her sustained leadership and impact in learning and teaching at institutional and national levels. Rachel is an established SoTL scholar with a strong publication record focused on digital education and the pedagogically grounded integration of generative AI in higher education. She is Lead Editor (Educational Technology) for the Journal of University Teaching and Learning Practice, where she contributes to shaping the quality, rigour, and direction of contemporary SoTL and educational technology research. A central feature of Rachel’s work is her long-standing commitment to student–staff partnership as a scholarly and leadership practice. She has led highly successful student–staff partnership initiatives in which students act as co-researchers, evaluators, and co-authors of scholarly outputs. These partnerships are embedded across her research, teaching innovation, and leadership practice, ensuring student voice meaningfully informs pedagogical design and evaluation. Rachel also plays a significant sector leadership role as Chair of the Australian Teaching and Education-Focused Academic Network, representing and supporting education-focused academics nationally. Through this role, she mentors emerging SoTL scholars, supports academic career development, and contributes to sector conversations on teaching impact and teaching quality. Across her work, Rachel is known for advancing values-led, inquiry-driven approaches to teaching innovation. Her current projects explore the ethical and pedagogical dimensions of artificial intelligence in higher education and the future of academic work in digitally enhanced learning environments. She continues to champion a collegial, evidence-based culture of teaching excellence that empowers both educators and students to co-create meaningful learning futures.
