Dr. Qu Jingru is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. Her research focuses on the intersections of artificial intelligence in education, cross-border education, and critical thinking development, with a commitment to exploring theoretical and practical implications of technology-mediated learning for human cognitive growth.

Dr Matt Chiu is a practising designer, educator, and researcher who uses multidisciplinary design as a connective lens for making sense of real world complexity, balancing both the art and the science of the discipline. Trained in an engineering school, he brings systems thinking into the art school, while foregrounding human centred judgement in form making, decision making, and service experiences. His research examines how emerging AI tools can support and assess design thinking, including methods for visualising learning patterns and strengthening context awareness in service design. He currently leads Hanabii, a design research project that begins with the everyday habit of pacifier reliance and extends into wider inquiry across healthcare research, product design, and system level reimagination.

Grant Parnell is a teaching and research academic at the University of Sydney whose research focuses on the interaction between genetic and environmental risk factors in the pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis. He is the unit of study coordinator for a senior‑year subject on the analysis of biomedical and health data within the Applied Medical Sciences major, where he leads curriculum design, assessment, and student learning in R‑based data analysis. Grant also serves as the lead of the School of Medical Sciences Honours program, supporting research training and mentoring emerging scientists. He has a keen interest in assessment design and the rapidly evolving challenges posed by widespread access to generative AI. His current scholarship of teaching and learning work examines how competence in code‑based, invigilated assessments is demonstrated in AI‑rich learning environments, and how assessment practices can remain valid, authentic, and equitable.

Chuljin A. Park (chuljin.park@unsw.edu.au) is an assistant professor at the School of Management and Governance in UNSW Sydney Business School. He earned his Ph.D. from Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University. From the educational perspective, his current interests revolve around how technological advances can be integrated into classrooms and how it impacts student learning, as well as teaching experiences. More broadly his research focuses on understanding how organization and individuals connect with one another, and how the connections evolve to impact organizational level outcomes. Topics of interest include social networks, organizational change and failure, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and innovation.

Dr. May Lim is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering, specialising in the development of resources and approaches for scalable authentic assessment in engineering education.

A. Prof. Silas Taylor specialises in Clinical Skills education and curriculum development, specialising in simulation-based medical training.

Jacqueline Greentree is a PhD Researcher at Queensland University of Technology’s School of Management and the Australian Cobotics Centre. Her research interests focus on education, decent work, and values and purposes for learning and development. Her approach combines employability, skills and educational approaches. Jacqueline is a member of the QUT Centre for Decent Work and Industry and has broad experience across all sectors of education in Australia, including governance and policy roles.

Dr Melinda Laundon (SFHEA) is a Senior Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology’s School of Management and the Australian Cobotics Centre. Her research interests focus on higher education, decent work, and learning and development. Her approach combines public policy, employment relations and human resources management approaches. Melinda is a member of the QUT Centre for Decent Work and Industry and has conducted research with government, industry and higher education organisations.

Dr Benito Cao is Associate Professor in Politics and International Relations at the University of Adelaide. Benito has a vast teaching experience and has received numerous teaching awards, including the Faculty of Arts Executive Dean’s Prize for Excellence in Teaching in 2011 and 2016, a Beacon Commendation for the Enhancement and Innovation of Student Learning in 2016, a Special Commendation COVID 19 Emergency Teaching Response in 2020, and the Stephen Cole the Elder Award for Excellence in Teaching and Support for Learning in 2020. He is the Academic Lead in Learning and Teaching in the School of Society and Culture. He is the author of Environment and Citizenship (Routledge, 2015) and the editor of Environmental Citizenship in the Indian Ocean Region (Routledge, 2021). He is currently experiencing and exploring the impact of generative artificial intelligence in learning and teaching, particularly regarding academic integrity. His approach to this challenge, titled "Don't Be Sorry, Just Declare It", has received significant attention and recognition, including recent publication in Times Higher Education Campus.

I am an experienced researcher and educator currently working as a Lecturer at Murdoch University. I am also the undergraduate Academic chair for HRM, management and hospitality and Tourism management. I hold a PhD from Murdoch University and have been actively involved in both teaching and research throughout my career. As a lecturer, I have had the privilege of teaching a variety of postgraduate and undergraduate courses, including: Principles of Business Governance Data Metrics, Reporting, and Analytics Organisational Change, Management, and Consultancy Business Research Methods Talent Management Change Management My research interests are centered around Total Quality Management (TQM), Change Management, Human Resource Management (HRM), Higher Education, and Organisational Performance, with a strong focus on quantitative data analysis. I have eleven research publications in international peer reviewed journals and one thesis publication. Recently, two of my research papers got accepted in peer reviewed journals as well. I am always open to collaborating on research projects related to HRM or general management. In addition to my teaching and research roles, I currently supervise one postgraduate student and two undergraduate students on their industry placements, helping guide their practical experience and career development. I am enthusiastic about contributing to the advancement of knowledge and fostering meaningful connections within the academic and research community.

Dr Katherine Fernandez is a Learning and Teaching Advisor at La Trobe University and a Biochemistry Educator‑Researcher at Monash University. She leads and supports curriculum design, assessment enhancement, and evidence‑informed pedagogical practice. Drawing on extensive experience teaching undergraduate Bio/Chemistry, she advances the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning through education research focused on case‑ and context‑based learning, flipped learning design, and students’ biochemical literacy. Integrating disciplinary and pedagogical expertise she designs engaging, concept‑rich learning experiences that elevate student learning and curriculum quality.
