Shireen Junpath (SFHEA) Shireen Junpath is a Professional Teaching Fellow in the Learning and Teaching Team at the University of Auckland Business School. Her work focuses on designing and delivering Academic Skills programmes for undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as leading peer mentoring initiatives and Graduate Teaching Assistant training. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE.

Dr Wendy Lee is a Lecturer and Nexus Fellow at the University of New South Wales, specialising in electrical engineering and engineering design. She is an engineering educator and researcher with a strong interest in innovative, inclusive teaching practices and curriculum design. Dr Lee teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate programs and is committed to integrating authentic, design-focused learning experiences into engineering education. Her work contributes to the development of future engineers equipped with strong technical foundations, professional skills, and the capacity to address complex real-world challenges.

Dr May Lim is a Senior Lecturer in Chemical Engineering and a Fellow of the UNSW Nexus Program. Her teaching interests focus on andragogical approaches that enable engineering students to develop disciplinary mastery while extending their capabilities beyond disciplinary boundaries. Her current work centres on enabling authentic and experiential learning at scale through partnerships and the effective use of digital tools.

Dr. Alvedi Sabani is a Senior Lecturer and Program Manager of the Bachelor of Commerce at the College of Business and Law (CoBL), RMIT University, and the EdTech Project Lead. His research interests are broad and interdisciplinary, spanning artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, digital transformation, electronic government, gamification, innovative pedagogy, and inclusive technology adoption. As a co-founder of the RMIT GamifiED Hub, Dr. Sabani has been instrumental in driving scholarly innovation in learning and teaching through gamification. This initiative has produced cutting-edge resources that enhance the student learning experience, aligning closely with RMIT's strategic emphasis on Active, Authentic, and Applied learning.

Professor Kathy Douglas leads the College of Business and Law learning, teaching and quality portfolio including governance, student satisfaction, program development and innovation in pedagogy. She is an experienced Executive leader who has focused on developing transformative educational experiences and impactful research. She was a member of academic board for several years and in 2020 chaired the Higher Education Committee. Previously, Kathy was the Dean of the Graduate School of Business and Law at RMIT (2018-2022). She led a high performing school focused on industry engaged learning and research. Kathy was awarded the Vice Chancellor's leadership award for Imagination in 2020 for her innovative practices. Kathy has a passion for impactful leadership that benefits students, staff and the communities that RMIT engages with, including industry. In 2025 she was awarded the Francis Ormond Award for Innovation at RMIT.

Professor Ling Mei Cong has over 20 years of experience working in universities across the Asia-Pacific region. She is currently the Deputy Dean, Learning and Teaching, at the School of Management, RMIT University. Ling Mei is passionate about using experiential learning and digital pedagogies for career skill development. She is a recipient of prestigious international and national teaching awards, such as QS Reimagine Education Gold Medal in Immersive Experiential Learning and the Australian Awards for University Teaching (AAUT) Citation Award. Her research focuses on technology-enhanced learning, as well as the intersection of internationalisation, innovation and corporate performance. She is a Fellow member of ACCA.

Dr Adriana Díaz (she/her) is a Senior Lecturer and Director of Teaching and Learning in the School of Languages and Cultures at The University of Queensland. Born in Argentina and now working on the unceded lands of the Turrbal and Jagera Peoples (Brisbane), she works at the intersections of language, power, and pedagogy. Her scholarship and leadership explore what becomes possible when language education is approached as a plurilingual, decolonial, and relational practice. Drawing on critical pedagogy, intersectional feminism, and raciolinguistics, Adriana examines and disrupts colonial and monolingual structures in curriculum and teacher education. She leads collaborative projects, including the development of advocacy-oriented Open Educational Resources, that reimagine language learning as a space of care, creativity, and ethical global citizenship. Her work contributes to the scholarship of teaching and learning and to professional learning that empowers educators to foster more inclusive, just, and transformative futures in a rapidly changing higher education landscape.

I am a learning science enthusiast experimenting with ways to improve student performance using various digital technologies supported by teaching models. I explore learning information management systems, learning ecosystems, and student learning styles in higher education with the pursuit of giving precise education to each individual student to follow their passions. My research includes Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, Learning Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Digital Twins and Nudge technologies. I aim to contribute to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal for high-quality education for all.

Yi-jung Sally Wu has earned her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, with a doctoral minor in Educational Psychology. In the conference, her research examines advising and scholarly ties through a network analysis of doctoral dissertation committee networks in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at a leading U.S. Ph.D. program (2012–2017). She earned dual master’s degrees in Educational Leadership and International Human Resource Management and Comparative Industrial Relations from the University of Manchester, UK, and has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. Before her doctoral studies, she worked as a research assistant on educational and psychological research projects and as a middle school mathematics teacher.

Dr Katherine Fernandez is a Learning and Teaching Advisor at La Trobe University and a Biochemistry Educator‑Researcher at Monash University. She leads and supports curriculum design, assessment enhancement, and evidence‑informed pedagogical practice. Drawing on extensive experience teaching undergraduate Bio/Chemistry, she advances the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning through education research focused on case‑ and context‑based learning, flipped learning design, and students’ biochemical literacy. Integrating disciplinary and pedagogical expertise she designs engaging, concept‑rich learning experiences that elevate student learning and curriculum quality.

George is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Information Systems and Technology Management at the UNSW, Sydney. His teaching and scholarship focus on improving the student learning experience through evidence based learning design, authentic assessment, and industry engaged education. He is particularly interested in how students learn challenging and transformative concepts, and how scaffolding can support deeper understanding and professional readiness. Sustainability is central to his teaching practice, and he co established and co leads the Education for Sustainable Development Community of Practice at UNSW. George has contributed to several institutional initiatives on assessment, feedback, and inclusive teaching across diverse student cohorts.

Dr Linh Nguyen is a Lecturer at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Business School - Centre for Social Impact (CSI). Linh’s research and teaching are driven by an aspiration to catalyse meaningful changes. Linh’s research and teaching focus on social entrepreneurship and social impact measurement. At UNSW, Linh teaches Social Entrepreneurship Practicum for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Professor Pauline Ross is the Director of Academic Leadership and Innovation in the Faculty of Science and immediate past Deputy Head of School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney, Australia. With over two decades of senior educational leadership experience at large and diverse metropolitan universities, and two PhDs (Science and Higher Education) Pauline focuses on developing contemporary curricula that provide meaningful experiences for students which are relevant beyond graduation and supporting the academics who teach them. She is known for her education research which encompasses the resilience of academics, the importance of elevating Indigenous knowledge and the evolving academic workforce in higher education. Pauline is one of Australia's most awarded academics, with multiple national and international awards for educational and teaching excellence and educational leadership.

Samantha Haley is the Head of Education in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney, Australia. Samantha started in higher education as a casual academic in Japanese Studies, in the School of Languages and Culture two decades ago, teaching beginner through to advanced Japanese language and business culture, progressing quickly to unit coordinator roles across multiple units and single-handedly building the Diploma of Languages (Japanese), one of the first hybrid courses to be developed at the University of Sydney. Samantha completed a Graduate Certificate and Masters in Higher Education and was the first professional staff member at The University of Sydney to become a Senior Fellow of Advance HE. Samantha is passionate about elevating the student experience through delivering education-based strategic and operational leadership across multi-disciplinary academic and professional teams and is the recipient of multiple faculty and University awards for professional and educational excellence.

Dr Judith is a Senior Lecturer at Curtin University with over 15 years of experience in academia. She is the Course Coordinator for the Health Administration Course, which is accredited by the Australasian College of Health Services Management (ACHSM). Judith also coordinates and teaches coursework in the Master of Health Administration and Public Health courses. In addition, Judith supervises research projects for PhD, master's, MPhil and honours students at the School of Population Health. Judith is a certified Health Executive by the Australasian College of Health Services Management (ACHSM), a fellow of the Advance Higher Education, and an associate fellow of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA). Her areas of research interest include student engagement in learning, assessment design, learning and teaching innovations, and evidence-based practices. Before joining academia, Judith worked as a health services manager in hospital and international non-governmental organisation (INGO) settings in Malawi and South Africa. Associate Professor Bella Butler is an internationally recognised educator with over 30 years of experience in the tertiary sector. She is a Course Coordinator for two elite postgraduate programs – Master of International Business and Entrepreneurship (MIBE) and Master of Management (MOM) at the School of Management and Marketing, FBL. A/Prof Butler has a diverse L & T portfolio in all modes of delivery across multiple study periods at all campuses of Curtin University (Australia, Malaysia, Mauritius, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates). The subjects which A/Prof Butler coordinates and teaches include Corporate Strategy and Corporate Governance, Master’s subjects, Organisational Change, an MBA subject, and Strategic Management, a final year undergraduate subject. A/Prof Butler’s innovative teaching is informed by her scholarship in learning and teaching as well as by her disciplinary expertise and professional networks.

Dr William Nketsia is a Senior Lecturer and Academic Program Advisor in the School of Education at Western Sydney University. He is an inclusive education scholar with extensive international experience across Australia, Ghana, Finland, the United Kingdom, and Norway. His research focuses on inclusive education policy and practice, Universal Design for Learning, teacher education reform, and disability inclusion, particularly in low and middle income contexts. Dr Nketsia has led and contributed to several externally funded projects, including Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade Australia Awards Fellowships supporting teacher education reform in Ghana. He supervises postgraduate research students and publishes widely in international journals on inclusion, teacher preparation, and equity. Beyond academia, he is actively engaged in community development and capacity building initiatives in education across sub Saharan Africa. His work is driven by a strong commitment to social justice, equity, and improving educational outcomes for learners with diverse needs globally.

Voula Gaganis is a Professor and Teaching Specialist in Physiology and the Teaching Program Director of Clinical Programs in the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University. She completed a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology at Flinders University, where her research focused on drug metabolism and renal toxicology, with particular emphasis on glucuronidation pathways and the mechanisms underlying non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug–related nephrotoxicity. Her current research focuses on health professions education, including active learning pedagogies, physiology core concepts, curriculum and assessment design, predictors of academic success, and graduate career pathways. Voula’s academic career has developed at Flinders University, where she has led substantial transformation in medical science and clinically oriented programs. She has been instrumental in replacing traditional didactic teaching with active, student-centred learning approaches across large undergraduate cohorts. She has extensive experience teaching human physiology and medical science subjects and is widely recognised for innovative curriculum, laboratory, and assessment design that integrates authentic clinical and professional scenarios, supports scientific reasoning and professional capability development, and enables students to master complex threshold concepts. In her role as Teaching Program Director of Clinical Programs, Voula provides strategic leadership across clinical curricula, working closely with academic, clinical, and industry partners to ensure programs are educationally rigorous, workforce aligned, and responsive to evolving healthcare practice. She has established strong partnerships across the medical sciences and health sectors to inform curriculum design and enhance graduate employability. Voula has an internationally recognised profile in the scholarship of teaching and learning and is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE (UK). Her contributions to teaching excellence and educational leadership have been recognised through multiple awards, including the Australian Awards for University Teaching (2021, 2024) and the South Australian Science Excellence and Innovation Award for STEMM Educator of the Year (2024).
