Madeleine Bornschlegl is a Psychology lecturer at Central Queensland University, based in Cairns, Far North Queensland, Australia. Her research focuses on investigating factors related to academic help-seeking behaviour and improving access to support services for diverse student cohorts.

Jodie Hogan is a lecturer in Academic Pathways at James Cook University, based in Cairns. She teaches Developing Academic Skills and has previously worked as the Peer Programs Coordinator, overseeing Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) leaders, Student Mentors and Peer Advisors. She has 28 years of teaching experience having taught kindergarten, primary school, high school and tertiary students in both Australia and internationally, in Japan.
