Professor Sabina Cerimagic is a senior executive academic leader with over 20 years’ experience across higher education, strategy, and complex organisational environments. Sabina has operated at executive level with responsibility for institution-wide portfolios spanning academic strategy, governance, student success, quality assurance, and organisational transformation. Her work has involved leading large, diverse teams; managing regulated and multi-stakeholder environments; and aligning academic priorities with institutional performance, financial sustainability, and external accountability. Professor Cerimagic is recognised for leading system-level reform in higher education, particularly in areas relating to curriculum governance, assessment integrity, student success frameworks, and future-focused learning models. Sabina brings a strong track record of navigating regulatory frameworks, strengthening academic quality, and enabling sustainable change at scale. Across both public and private sectors, Sabina has worked closely with Vice-Chancellors, senior executives, governing bodies, and external partners to deliver outcomes that enhance institutional capability, student experience, and long-term strategic positioning.

Dr Manisha Thakkar is a Health Sciences educator and Research Assistant at Torrens University Australia, and Vice President of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia (HERDSA). She specialises in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), assurance of learning, inclusive curriculum design, and academic integrity. Dr Thakkar leads institutional and cross-sector projects focused on assessment innovation, AI capability, and academic development.

Dr Noosha Ehya is a Senior Learning Facilitator and Subject Coordinator in the Faculty of Health Sciences at TUA. She integrates active learning strategies and metacognitive approaches into her teaching to foster deeper student learning. Her professional interests include educational research and identifying strategies to enhance curriculum design and delivery. Noosha has engaged in collaborative curriculum focused initiatives through her involvement in the ST3 Working Group.

Dr Amber Moore is a Senior Learning Facilitator and Subject Coordinator in Health Sciences at TUA. Amber works to improve the quality of teaching and learning at TUA through leadership in scholarship with wider faculty. Amber is a published researcher in different areas including work-integrated learning and use of Complementary Medicine in Australia.

Dr. Dhivya Rajasekaran is a Program Director of Health Sciences at Torrens University of Australia. Dhivya passionate about teaching and academic leadership. Dhivya aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning through scholarly activities through the Scholarly Teaching Think Tank and focusses on staff capacity-building in teaching and scholarship

Steven Warburton is Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education Innovation) at the University of Newcastle, Australia. He provides institutional leadership in digital education, curriculum design, academic quality, and student experience, with a particular focus on assessment, learning design, and the strategic use of emerging technologies. His work spans policy, practice, and scholarship, supporting large-scale transformation in learning and teaching while maintaining alignment with regulatory and quality frameworks. Steven has published and presented widely on technology-enhanced learning, assessment redesign, and staff capability development, and has led major initiatives in online assessment, curriculum management, and AI-informed educational practice. He is actively engaged in national and international higher education networks and his research interests centre on student experience, learning design, and the conditions that enable effective, inclusive learning in contemporary higher education.

I am a learning designer and project coordinator with a strong foundation in educational technology and language teaching. I've worked with diverse learners aged 9 to 70 from over 27 countries across three continents, and I bring that experience in engagement and practical application to my current work in academic libraries. At Curtin University Library, I lead the AI Literacy Program—designing skills development initiatives, coordinating stakeholder partnerships, and creating resources that help students and researchers navigate emerging technologies with confidence and critical awareness. My work combines instructional design, information literacy, project management, and a commitment to making complex concepts accessible.

Serena is a lecturer at UNSW with more than 20 years of clinical experience as senior physiotherapist in Cardiothoracic surgery and ICU in a tertiary hospital, Sydney, Australia. Currently, Serena is engaged in post-hip fracture research, exploring the utilisation of Rehabilitation In The Home (RITH) in collaboration with the ANZ Hip registry, SWSLHD and NSW ACI. Her interests also encompass other cardiorespiratory areas, including respiratory, critical care and surgeries. She has experience in both quantitative (RCT) and qualitative methodologies (e.g. Systematic reviews with meta-analysis, and surveys). As an Education Focused lecturer, Serena is committed to curriculum development and teaching the next generation of physiotherapy students. She particularly enjoys developing learning activities and deliveries that are outside the traditional scope of practice and utilising current technologies and software to boost students’ engagement and learning. Serena finds inspiration in her students and aims to inspire them in return.

Corina is a Senior Lecturer in Business Information Systems specialising in educational innovation and creative thinking. Her work focuses on designing experiential interdisciplinary learning and sustainable online learning environments including high quality assessment. Corina has been instrumental in leading University and School wide curriculum initiatives, Bachelor of Commerce Capstone and Industry and Community Project Units, aimed to produce graduates that adapt and thrive in today’s dynamic world. She was also part of the team that designed the first Multidisciplinary Major in Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Corina also brings expertise in qualitative and interdisciplinary research, particularly co-design approaches for addressing and evaluating complex problem solving. For her significant contributions and dedication to student learning experiences, Corina received the AAUT Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning, the Wayne Lonergan Award for Outstanding Teaching, and the Vice Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Educational Engagement and Innovation.

Pearl Subban is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at an Australian university and an internationally recognised scholar in equity, race, and inclusive education. Her research focuses on the racialised and gendered experiences of women academics of colour, examining academic labour, professional identity, and the institutional conditions shaping teaching, leadership, and care work in higher education. Grounded in Critical Race Theory, feminist, and decolonial scholarship, her work interrogates how equity commitments are enacted and unevenly recognised within universities. Pearl holds senior leadership responsibilities in equity and inclusion and regularly advises on anti-racism, inclusive pedagogy, and organisational change. She is also a teacher educator with a background in English education and a strong commitment to relational, justice-oriented teaching.

Ryan Subban is a PhD candidate in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. His research focuses on social inequities, with particular attention to racial and cultural diversity in educational contexts. He is currently in the second year of his doctoral studies, investigating how teaching and learning environments can become more adaptive, responsive and equitable for students and staff from diverse backgrounds. Ryan is also a school leader and teacher in an independent school in Melbourne, Australia, where he brings practical expertise in curriculum, pedagogy and student support. In addition, he works as a sessional academic at Monash University, enabling him to contribute across both school and higher education settings. His combined experience as a researcher, teacher, school leader and university educator informs his interest in differentiated instruction, inclusive pedagogy and equity-oriented approaches to teaching and learning.

Margarita is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the University of Canberra, where she teaches courses including biology, environmental challenges, professionalism and modules in phylogenetics. With a research background in ecology, biodiversity and evolution, particularly focusing on mammals, she brings a strong scientific perspective to her teaching. Margarita is deeply committed to advancing the quality of education, continually exploring innovative approaches to improve student engagement and learning outcomes.
