Sultana Lubna Alam is an Associate Professor of Digital Transformation and AI Management at the University of Sydney, Australia. Her research interest sits at the intersection of digital transformation, digital technologies and the societal impact of digitalisation for organisations, higher education and marginalized communities. She is an inter-disciplinary researcher with expertise in socio-technical studies. Her recent research topics are AI and Higher Education, IS jobs and Skills alignment with industry, Digitalisation and responsible use, Sustainability and crisis leadership. Her research has been published in reputed journals such as Information Systems Research, Information Systems Journal, Information Technology and People, and Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems. Dr. Alam also contributes to the academic community as an Associate Editor for leading journals such as Information and Management and Communications of the AIS. Lubna is the treasurer of ACPHIS (Australian Council for Professors and Heads of Information Systems), the peak body IS professors in Australia.

Dr. Lulu Liu is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Higher Education, Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), China. She received her PhD in Education from the School of Education at Tsinghua University. Her research interests center on graduate education, with a particular focus on doctoral students’ academic development, resilience, socialization, and cross-border research training in research-intensive universities. Methodologically, her work is grounded in qualitative and mixed-methods approaches, with attention to how institutional structures, governance arrangements, and policy environments shape students’ learning experiences and developmental trajectories. Her research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals, including Higher Education Research & Development and China Higher Education Research. Through her work, she seeks to contribute to international debates on graduate education, higher education governance, and research capacity development in changing global contexts.

Dr Pauline Ross, Professor of Marine Ecology (PhD, Sydney) and Higher Education (PhD, Melbourne) Professor Pauline Ross is the Director of Academic Leadership and Innovation in the Faculty of Science and immediate past Deputy Head of School of Life and Environmental Sciences at the University of Sydney, Australia. With over two decades of senior educational leadership experience at large and diverse metropolitan universities, and two PhDs (Science and Higher Education) Pauline focuses on developing contemporary curricula that provide meaningful experiences for students which are relevant beyond graduation and supporting the academics who teach them. She is known for her education research which encompasses the resilience of academics, the importance of elevating Indigenous knowledge and the evolving academic workforce in higher education. Pauline is one of Australia's most awarded academics, with multiple national and international awards for educational and teaching excellence and educational leadership.
