Biography

Prof. Dr. Eman AbuKhousa is a specialist in digital transformation, AI-driven innovation, and the design of transformative learning experiences for the future of business and society. At the University of Europe for Applied Sciences (UE) in Dubai, she leads initiatives that embed artificial intelligence, smart business practices, sustainability, and data-informed decision making into business and data science programs. As a member of the Advisory Board of the AI Education Forum and a strategic partner for Buddiz AI, she actively shapes responsible AI adoption and capacity building across the MENA region. She is also a CoDesignS ESD mentor and a Digital4Sustainability Champion, recognized by UNESCO, UNEP, and UNSSC for her contributions to sustainability-focused education and leadership. Her work focuses on reimagining educational and organizational systems to foster resilience, inclusion, and long-term not only economic value but also ecological value while developing global-citizen leaders capable of meaningful transformation. She regularly engages global audiences on big data analytics, AI governance, smart decision systems, and the future of learning.

Victoria A. Bauer: Victoria A. Anna Rowe SFHEA is the Academic Development Lead, Pro Vice-Chancellor Education Portfolio at UNSW. She leads various institution wide capability building initiatives in areas such as Advance HE Fellowships and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). Anna has published widely in higher education learning and teaching with specific areas of interest including the role of emotions in learning, work-integrated learning, pedagogy, feedback and peer review of teaching.

Biography

Assoc Prof Chien Gooi is a Clinical Psychologist and an Education Focused Associate Professor in the UNSW School of Psychology. He is the Director of the Master of Psychology (Clinical) program and has strong interests in the development and assessment of psychology competencies, clinical supervision and deliberate practice. In addition, he collaborates with colleagues across disciplines on research around SoTL.
