Kok Leong brings 25 years of industry experience before transitioning to full-time academia in 2019. Prior to joining NUS-ISS, he served as a Deputy Director at a publicly listed company, where he oversaw both IT security and IT infrastructure. His professional background also includes roles in system integration firms and a government agency. At NUS-ISS, Kok Leong’s teaching and research focus on Cybersecurity and Learning Science. His teaching portfolio includes AI security, cloud security, IoT security, security architecture, and information systems security. He remains closely connected to industry through applied projects, speaking engagements, and ongoing curriculum development.

Sheena Singh is currently an educator with Temasek Polytechnic where she teaches and researches life skills subjects and pedagogy. She has previously worked and published in the areas of refugee/humanitarian studies, gender and history.

Allen J Roche is currently an educator with Temasek Polytechnic where he teaches life skills subjects.

Melissa Singletary is a Registered Nurse, Clinical Educator, and Senior Learning Facilitator specialising in nursing education, evidence-based practice, and clinical leadership. She coordinates acute care nursing programs and is completing a PhD focused on growth mindset, neuroscience, and student success.

Kristina Parguian is a Lead Nurse Educator with over a decade of experience in Australia and internationally across paediatrics, anaesthetics, and recovery, dedicated to developing compassionate, values-driven nursing professionals.

Jane Fowler is an Associate Professor in the School of Allied Health, Sport, and Social Work at Griffith University. She is Director of Mosaic at Griffith, a new and exciting innovation for people living with mental health conditions in Brisbane, which provides free University level courses to those who might not otherwise gain access to higher education. Jane is also the Lead of a program of practice and research on Building Counselling Capacity in Papua New Guinea which won the 2025 Excellence in International Engagement Award from Engagement Australia. Jane is internationally and nationally recognised for her excellence in learning and teaching via numerous awards, a Principal Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy in the UK, and an Inaugural Fellowship of the Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australasia. Jane's work spans a variety of interests in research and practice (e.g., mentoring, counselling, mental health), each of which is fundamentally grounded in principles of social justice, equity, and community.

Claire Laundy is an educator, researcher, and program designer with experience across higher education and international education contexts. She is currently completing a Doctor of Education, with research examining how global competence is addressed in initial teacher education and enacted by graduate teachers in classrooms. Claire is a Unit Coordinator in early childhood and primary teacher education, where she teaches courses focused on inclusive practice, global perspectives, and reflective professional learning. Her tertiary teaching is informed by close engagement with pre-service and early career teachers across diverse cultural and linguistic contexts. She has worked extensively on international education and development programs, particularly across Southeast Asia, with a strong focus on Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI), sustainability, and intercultural learning. Claire’s work emphasises thoughtful program design, collaboration, and supporting educators to translate research and policy into meaningful classroom practice.

Kay Harrison is a Learning Designer whose background in inclusive and alternative education has fostered her adaptability and ability to translate across disciplines. She creates meaningful learning experiences that inspire lifelong learning. Her growing expertise in assessment and AI integration informs her exploration of the intersection between transdisciplinary teaching and educational transformation. She values student-centred approaches that prioritise human connection and relational learning amidst technological change.

Associate Professor Anita Heywood is Associate Dean Education (Quality) at UNSW Medicine & Health and a public health educator in the School of Population Health at UNSW Sydney. She has more than fifteen years’ experience designing and delivering online and blended postgraduate courses for diverse public health audiences. Through key education leadership roles she has led initiatives that enhance teaching quality, strengthen curriculum design and improve student experience. She mentors emerging higher education leaders, supporting colleagues to develop capability in curriculum review and quality enhancement and contributing to the broader professionalisation of educational leadership. As co-Deputy Chair of Academic Board’s Program Review Committee, she contributes to shaping curriculum standards, review processes and quality frameworks that align with sector expectations for robust program governance. She represents the Faculty on multiple education committees and working groups, informing policy and contributing to conversations on quality, innovation and evidence informed learning and teaching.

Rebecca holds a teaching‑focused position within the Pathways and Participation stream, specialising in pre‑university enabling programs and drawing on a professional background in both science and senior secondary education. Her work with pre‑university cohorts has reinforced her view that, while preparing students for the academic demands of undergraduate study is essential, educators also play a critical role in challenging deficit assumptions about who is suited to university. By cultivating inclusive learning environments and supporting the development of student confidence, she aims to promote broader participation and sustained success in higher education. Alongside her tertiary teaching experience, Rebecca has worked in school settings in tutoring and curriculum support roles and has completed teaching placements in secondary schools, particularly within Adelaide’s northern suburbs. She currently facilitates workshops for the 'University Makes a Difference' program, funded through the Commonwealth Government’s Higher Education Continuity Guarantee. This outreach initiative partners with non‑mainstream schools to help students explore post‑school learning opportunities and, where appropriate, pursue alternative pathways to SACE completion.
