Yan Xuan Lim is an associate lecturer and module leader in psychology and community-based learning in higher education. Her work focuses on integrating psychological theory, service-learning, and advocacy to support ethical engagement with marginalised and vulnerable communities. She designs evidence-informed pedagogical approaches that emphasise meaning-making, power awareness, and reflective practice, enabling students to translate theory into responsible real-world action. Her teaching and research interests include community psychology, youth wellbeing, desistance, generativity, and experiential learning design. Through collaborations with community partners, she develops psychologically grounded advocacy tools and learning experiences that enhance both student development and community impact. Her work contributes to scholarship and practice in teaching and learning, particularly in service-learning and applied psychology contexts.

Dan SUN is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education (EdD) in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the Education University of Hong Kong. Prior to her academic journey in Hong Kong, she gained valuable experience as a college teacher in Guangzhou, China. Her research focuses on formative assessment, with a particular emphasis on student self-assessment practices in higher education. Through her work, she aims to explore effective strategies that empower students to take ownership of their learning and enhance their educational outcomes. In addition to academic pursuits, She enjoys traveling and swimming, which allows her to unwind and experience new culture.

Himani Chugh is an Educational Designer for the ADA Skills Passport Project at UNSW, where she is designing AI-enabled solutions to support both staff and students. The project helps academic staff map their courses to employability skills and empowers students to track, identify, and articulate the transferable skills they gain throughout their academic journey. With 10+ years of experience at the intersection of education design and technology, she’s passionate about designing for those ‘aha moments’ - the kind that spark engagement and create lasting impact.

Susan is Professor of Lifelong learning at the University of Auckland. She is interested in adult learning, employability and student wellbeing. She is a Principal Fellow of Advance HE and a HERSA Fellow.
