Dr. Sharyn Carnahan, Senior Lecturer and Program Director at Torrens University Australia, has nearly 35 years of experience in health education. She is involved in various learning and teaching processes, including curriculum development, online and hybrid learning. Dr Carnahan has widespread networks and can draw on diverse expertise of colleagues to facilitate positive collaborations and acheivements. She is involved in a number of research projects within Torrens University and cross-institutionally related to student engagement and retention. Dr. Abirami Ramalingam is a lecturer with 15 years of teaching and research experience in biological sciences. She is currently Course Co-ordinator of the Diploma of Health Science at Torrens University Australia. She is deeply committed to fostering student engagement and cultivating critical thinking skills to address real-world health challenges. Her current research focuses on advancing health science education and enhancing student success.

Aileen Wanli Lam is a Senior Lecturer from the National University of Singapore. She teaches business communications, critical thinking and academic writing, and is fascinated with educational technology which has led to the development of blended and online courses including an edX MOOC. She continues to keep up with developments in Generative AI and its impact on industries and education. Aileen’s research interests lie in pedagogy, educational technology, leadership and student life.

Netty Mattar holds a PhD in English Literature from the National University of Singapore, where she currently teaches. Her research focuses on the intersections among speculative literature and technoculture, with a particular interest in issues related to warfare, colonial trauma, memory, and posthumanism. She is also interested in cultural and social imaginaries of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and is currently exploring the impact of AI on academic identity and voice.

Doreen Tan is a lecturer with over a decade of tertiary teaching experience in professional communication, critical thinking, and academic writing. Her research explores the use of generative AI and educational technology, trust-building with students inside and outside the classroom, and strategies to boost student engagement. Committed to developing critical thinkers and shaping the next generation of learners, Doreen fosters positive student–teacher relationships and contributes to residential living to support students’ holistic development.

Prashan Karunaratne is an inspirational and innovative teacher at Macquarie University. His enthusiasm for teaching, and passion for improving student outcomes, have inspired and engaged tens of thousands of students for more than a decade. Prashan is a first-in-family university graduate. He began his career in the Department of Economics (2003-2019) teaching across undergraduate and postgraduate units. During this period, he received several Business School, University, and National Awards – such as two Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning – Australian Awards for University Teaching. He then moved onto the Learning and Teaching portfolio (2019-2020) followed by the Department of Actuarial Studies and Business Analytics (2021-present). Even with his career shift into new disciplines, he has continued to receive Business School, University, and National awards for contributions to learning and teaching – such as the inaugural Australian Business Deans Council Award for Innovation and Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

Dr. Lillian Luk is an assistant professor in the Teaching & Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) in the University of Hong Kong. She has a multidisciplinary background, with a PhD in Education from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), a Masters in Japanese Linguistics from Monash University and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Psychology from the National University of Singapore. Within TALIC, Lillian plays a key role in organizing professional development workshops and seminars, providing consultations to academics on pedagogical design and the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Professor Doa El-Ansary is Deputy Dean, Engagement and Professor of Physiotherapy at RMIT, Australia. She is also a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne and Adjunct Professor at Shanghai University of Medicine and Health Sciences. Doa is a recognised leader in physiotherapy, focusing on evidence-based practice and perioperative care in cardiothoracic surgery, with over 200 publications and $7.5 million in research funding. With 25 years in higher education, she has led several physiotherapy programs in Australia, pioneering innovative curricula tailored to industry needs and workforce gaps. Her educational approach emphasizes developing leadership skills, including "leading self", "leading teams", and "leading together" to shape future health leaders. Her research has contributed to new clinical guidelines and has been awarded in Australia, the USA, and Europe.

Craig Williamson is an educationalist employed as a Senior Learning and Teaching Specialist within the Learning and Teaching team in the College. Working closely with academics developing curricula and assessment including assurance of learning, rubric design, learning outcome design, assessment task development, pedagogy, and providing professional development and academic capability uplift through targeted workshops across the College for professional and academic staff. Education qualifications wise, I have a Master of Education from the University of Melbourne.

Ishpal Sandhu, Principal Advisor L&T, leads a college-wide learning and teaching portfolio focused on educator capability, program quality, and student learning. I work closely with senior leaders and teaching teams to shape professional development, cultivate communities of practice, and support academic recognition pathways, including awards, fellowships, and promotions. My work encompasses curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, and responsible AI, grounded in strong governance and quality assurance that aligns with AQF, ASQA, and TEQSA requirements.

Dr Gillian Vesty, Professor and Deputy Dean L&T, School of Accounting, Information Systems and Supply Chain, Chair of RMIT Education Committee. Gillian has actively supported RMIT College of Business and Law in developing AACSB Assurance of Learning processes. Research interests include the design and development of digital serious games pedagogy.

Dr Huan Vo-Tran is an academic leader, researcher and educator specialising in business analytics, information systems, AI strategy and digital transformation. As Head of DISBA at RMIT, he leads people-first, industry-aligned education, advances research, mentors scholars, and co-designs innovative programs preparing students for future-focused careers and lifelong learning success globally.

Dr. Kok Seng Kiong is currently the Head of Undergraduate Business Programs and a Senior Lecturer in Finance at RMIT University Vietnam. As Head of Undergraduate Business Programs, he has oversight over the quality enhancement standards of business offerings, working with counterparts across RMIT's global campuses in ensuring alignment of localised delivery.

Dr Helen Hickson is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Science at Central Queensland University (CQU), in Australia, with over 20 years’ experience in teaching in higher education. Helen’s PhD research explored how social workers learn and use reflection and her post-doctoral work has been dedicated to supporting social workers, students and organisations to incorporate critical reflection into their practice. She is currently supervising a PhD Candidate who is researching what works for international students in Australia who are learning critical reflection theory and practice.

Rochelle Banks is a PhD Candidate, researcher, and sessional academic in the School of Education and Professional Studies at Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. Her current research examines gender-based violence, institutional sexism, and sexual harassment within educational institutions. She is particularly invested in advancing research that foregrounds the intersections of feminist theory and affect theory, with a focus on how analyses of lived experience and emotion reveal and contest the tensions produced by patriarchal and oppressive systems.

Thi Bich Ngoc Vu is a Masters' graduate from Monash University, who has worked with students of diverse ages and backgrounds in Vietnam and Australia. She graduated from the University of Languages and International Studies - Vietnam National University with a Bachelor of English Teacher Education, before attaining a Master of Education Degree at Monash University. Her research interest focuses on the experience of stress and stress management of teachers and students in school and higher education context.

Yixuan Chi is a recent graduate of the Master of Education in Digital Learning at Monash University. Her academic interests focus broadly on digital learning design in higher education, including work-integrated learning, online and hybrid learning environments, and technology-enhanced student engagement. This work draws on a conceptual, literature-informed exploration of Virtual Work-Integrated Learning (Virtual WIL) in the post-pandemic context, with particular attention to co-design approaches involving students, educators, and community partners. Her work reflects an early-stage inquiry developed during her postgraduate studies and contributes to ongoing discussions of professional learning, employability, and community engagement in digitally mediated settings. She is preparing to undertake doctoral research in the field of educational technology at Griffith University, Australia.
