Mengyuan He is a PhD candidate in Education at Adelaide University. Her research focuses on online learning and educational transitions, drawing on Cultural–Historical Activity Theory and dialectical analysis to examine the relationship between education policy and everyday educational practice. Her work is particularly concerned with equity, governance, and digital education across schooling and higher education contexts.

Professor Sandra Carr is Head of the Department of Health Professions Education at the University of Western Australia (UWA) and a leading advocate for developing health professionals as educators and leaders. Her work focuses on strengthening the identity, capability, and confidence of clinical educators, supporting them to teach, mentor, and lead effectively within dynamic health systems. With a clinical background in nursing and midwifery and advanced qualifications including an MPH and PhD in Medical Education, she examines how clinicians learn to teach, how educator identity forms, and how faculty development shapes professional practice. Her research spans student selection, learner motivation, clinical education, academic performance, curriculum design, program evaluation, and the integration of health and humanities. A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, she has supervised more than 35 higher degree research completions and designed postgraduate programs that build teaching expertise across medicine, nursing, and allied health. She also founded Australia’s first Humanities for Health and Medicine major, championing reflective, human‑centred approaches to educator development and leadership.

Associate Professor Faith Kwa is the Associate Dean, Education and Student Experience in the School of Health Sciences at Swinburne University of Technology. Her innovative pedagogy and sustained impact on student learning have been recognised nationally and internationally through the Australian Awards for University Teaching Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (UK). She has also received other teaching honours, including the Swinburne Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence. Faith leads a transformative student learning experience through authentic curriculum design, industry engagement, and futures literacy. A key achievement of her work is the development of a scaffolded work-integrated learning model that provides direct industry engagement opportunities for every student across a cohort of 800–1,000 learners annually. At the heart of Faith’s teaching philosophy is a commitment to sparking curiosity, cultivating confidence, and empowering learners to become lifelong learners and future-ready health professionals.

Associate Professor Roula Kyriacou is the Associate Dean, Clinical and Professional Education, in the School of Health & Biomedical Sciences at RMIT University. She leads innovation in work-integrated learning and placement preparedness, enhancing student engagement and workforce readiness across health and biomedical disciplines. A national award-winning educator and Senior Fellow of Advance HE (UK), Roula drives initiatives that strengthen partnerships between academia and industry, build educator capability, and support students and supervisors in an evolving and disrupted workforce. Her work reflects a strong commitment to student-centred excellence and collaborative professional development.
