Pan-genomes and graphs: new ways to explore genetic variability within Lens spp.
Biography
Larissa Ramsay is a Senior Bioinformatics Analyst in Kirstin Bett’s Pulse Crop Genomics and Breeding Program at the University of Saskatchewan. Larissa began working in bioinformatics as a summer student at Agriculture and Agri-food Canada over two decades ago and was hired upon graduation at Canada’s National Research Council (Plant Biotechnology Institute). Larissa has co-authored more than 20 publications and is mentoring a new generation of bioinformaticians coming through the Pulse Crop Genomics and Breeding Program at the University of Saskatchewan.
