Workshop Information:
The session will run from 10:00 am – 4:00pm. There are three options for participation:
1. Dedicated agent: Register for this workshop and arrive at 10:00am for an introduction by the artist. You are not required to stay until 4:00.
2. Casual agent: Drop-in anytime between 11:00am and 3:00pm, learn the rules and join the drawing. No registration required.
3. Spectator: Drop-in anytime to watch. No registration required.
All footwear must be removed before entering the workshop space, so please bring warm socks. The workshop involves working on the floor to create a tape drawing, so please bring a cushion for your comfort if needed. Wear loose casual clothing. No prior artistic experience is required.
Abstract:
The artwork will be created using a variation of rules designed for a recent 8-day collaborative drawing enacted with the general public as part of the World Science Festival Brisbane.
