Biography
Dr. Nina Tunariu has been a Consultant Radiologist at Royal Marsden Hospital & Institute of Cancer, UK , for the Drug Development and Prostate Cancer Targeted Therapy Units, for last 14 years. Her daily work include providing imaging support for more than 100 phase I and phase II clinical trials in all tumour types with focus on RECIST, modified RECIST and imaging detection of drug induced toxicities.
Dr. Tunariu’s academic work revolves around the development and integration of Whole Body MRI (WBMRI) as clinical tool in oncological imaging and as a research multiparametric imaging tool for evaluation of tumour heterogeneity in metastatic cancer patients as part of multimodality assessments that include CT and Novel PET tracers.
