Dr McRobbie is adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Adelaide. He chairs the ACPSEM MR Safety Assessment Panel and is co-author of MRI from Picture to Proton and author of Essentials of MRI Safety. Previously he was Head of Medical Physics, South Australia Medical Imaging, Director of Radiological Sciences, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and a member of the pioneering Aberdeen MRI team in the 1980s. He received the ISMRT 2024 Crues-Kressel Award for contributions to MR radiographer education.
