Tom’s spinal crash course… at breakneck speed
Presentation description
This presentation will provide a brief series of interesting cases, tips and suggestions for performing MRI of the spine in a range of clinical scenarios. Included are techniques to overcome common challenges in MRI, and approaches to best demonstrate pathologies commonly visualised in the spine.
Biography
I began my career in MRI as a trainee at Flinders Medical Centre in 2016, before moving to London where I worked as an MRI radiographer in the NHS. After 18 months, I ran out of money and moved back to Adelaide. I then gained a role in MRI at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where I worked for the next 4 years. Recently, I've joined the team at Radiology SA, where I'm enjoying the opportunity to apply my experiences in a leadership role.
