Optimising MSK MRI and Future Directions
Presentation description
This Lecture will cover brief basics of building the “bread and butter” FSE sequences for optimum clarity and resolution which goes beyond voxel size alone and then cover basics of optimal use of AI/Deep learning applications. From here we will investigate the optimization of 3D FSE for MSK including basics behind minimizing 3D blur using fast echo spacing strategies, flip angle sweeps creating stimulated echoes, k-space acceleration strategies and various parameters. We will then have a basic overview of alternative imaging such as bone imaging options and a brief look at quantitative MSK MRI.
