Biography

Kyle John Wilby is a Professor and Director of the College of Pharmacy at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. Originally from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, he earned a BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Saskatchewan (2008), a hospital residency at Vancouver Coastal Health (2009), a post-graduate PharmD from the University of British Columbia (2012), and a PhD in Health Professions Education from Maastricht University (2019). He has worked internationally in public health and university settings, including Ghana, Qatar, New Zealand, and Canada, and is a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, providing global education on health equity and 2SLGBTQIA+ health. His educational research spans instructional design, student wellness, assessment, accreditation, and program evaluation. He has led curricular reforms globally and focuses on modernizing licensing pathways and improving experiential learning assessment. He has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers and serves as Associate Editor for the American Journal of Pharmaceutical Education.
