Jason Carlson is a Partner at Chambers Russell Lawyers and an industry expert in strata and community titles law. He was a director of Strata Community Association (Qld) from 2016 – 2022 and a director of Strata Community Association Australasia from 2022 – 2024. In 2022 he received the SCA (Qld) President’s Award in recognition of his significant contributions to, and leadership within, Queensland’s strata sector. Jason has practiced exclusively in strata law since 2009 at industry leading strata law firms. His focus has been on dispute resolution, strategic advisory work and management rights disputes. He has led bodies corporate through some of the most significant pieces of strata litigation in Queensland over the last 15 years.

Andrew Suttie is the Director of Stratify Legal and a highly regarded expert in strata law. A Fellow of the Australian College of Strata Lawyers and Strata Community Australia (Qld), Andrew has played a pivotal role in the development of the strata industry. Recognised for their leadership, they received the 2019 SCA (Qld) President’s Award for their contributions to the field. He served as a Director of Strata Community Australia (Qld) from 2012 to 2016 and previously chaired the legislation and policy committees at both the state and national levels. Passionate about body corporate law reform in Queensland, Andrew remains actively involved in shaping industry policies. Beyond law, they have also been a professional musician for over 30 years.

As General Manager of Cassels Strata, Kristi leads a team of experienced strata professionals. She has worked in the strata industry since 2006 and is well-versed in the complexities and intricacies of strata management. Teamed with her Bachelor of Business in Management and Certificate IV in Strata Management, Kristi has extensive experience in leading teams in and outside of the strata industry and has a passion for developing teams and individuals to provide professional, outstanding service. With a keen interest in seeing the continued growth and professionalism of the strata management sector, Kristi contributes her experience to the industry in a variety of ways. She has served as an educator in the industry, as a Committee Member for UDIA’s Strata Management Committee, and as a Board Director, including as President, of Strata Communities Association (Queensland) where she enthusiastically contributed to the ongoing professional standards for the strata management industry across Queensland.

Juliette was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993 after obtaining an Honours Degree in Law from Bond University. She has been an involved member of our Strata Industry since late 1990s. She can make complex legal issues look easier than assembling flat-pack furniture—without the leftover screws! With a specialisation in construction litigation on behalf of bodies corporate, Juliette is here to guide us through the legal barriers to achieve a well maintained, and insured, building.
