Biography

Dr. Khaliun Nyambayar, MD., PhD, is a Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor in the Pharmacology Department at the School of Bio-Medicine, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS), Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She completed her medical and master’s degree in Mongolia and earned her PhD from the Graduate School of Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Japan. Her main research areas include clinical pharmacology, drug safety, pharmacovigilance, antimicrobial use, and cardiovascular pharmacology. She has collaborated on several international research projects, presented at multiple scientific conferences, and published studies on antimicrobial use, drug safety, and the pharmacological effects of Mongolian medicinal plants. Dr. Nyambayar also serves as a Drug Registration Expert at the Ministry of Health of Mongolia.

Biography

Kajol Singh completed her Bachelor in Pharmacy with a specialisation in Herbal Cosmetics. She is currently working as a Therapy Manager in the Neuroscience Division at Gentech HealthCare Pvt Ltd, one of India’s leading healthcare organisations. In this role, she is involved in promoting evidence-based therapeutic solutions and engaging with clinicians on optimising patient outcomes in neurology and psychiatry. Alongside her professional responsibilities, she is pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) part-time, further strengthening her skills at the interface of healthcare, management and innovation.

Biography

Brigid is a clinical pharmacist with more than 10 years of practice experience related to the care of older people in hospital and community settings. She also has significant postgraduate pharmacy teaching experience at Monash University. Brigid is completing a PhD related to the development, implementation and evaluation of a psychotropic adverse event monitoring in the nursing home setting, and leads a team of pharmacists in the Rehabilitation and Geriatric Medicine program at Monash Health in Melbourne, Australia.

Her research focuses on demographic characteristic differences in the use glucose-lowering medications in patients with type 2 diabetes, using Australia population-based cohorts to inform precision medicine and promote equitable healthcare delivery.

Performance of a Novel Adverse Drug Reaction Causality Scale: A Comparative Study

Abstract

Biography

Manjunath Nookala Krishnamurthy is a Clinical Pharmacologist at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, with over 12 years of experience. He serves as Principal Investigator for the ICMR Centre for Advanced Research in Phase I clinical trials and for the Centre for Advanced Research in validating medical devices in oncology. His work includes pharmacokinetic and pharmacometrics-driven dose optimization studies, as well as pharmacovigilance and health economics research on oncology drugs. He has authored 50 national and international publications in peer-reviewed, PubMed-indexed journals and has submitted six patents. Dr Krishnamurthy holds an MBBS, MD in Pharmacology, and a DM in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics.
