Dr. Umberto Villani earned his MSc in Bioengineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2018. He then worked on the biophysical modelling of magnetic resonance imaging techniques, obtaining a PhD in biomedical imaging applied to Neuroscience in 2022. Until 2024, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Translational Pharmacology at the National Research Council in Rome, where he contributed to the development of quantitative methods to evaluate the efficacy of novel drugs and drug combinations against tuberculosis. He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Clinical Pharmacology at UCL’s School of Pharmacy, within the Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Group, where his work centres on applying Modelling & Simulation techniques to accelerate the approval of new medicines for paediatric rare diseases.

Dr. Olofin is a Senior Lecturer and the pioneering Head of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the College of Medicine, Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria. He also serves as a Principal Medical Officer at Lead City University Teaching Hospital. He obtained both his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree and Master of Science in Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the University of Ibadan. He is currently pursuing an MPhil/PhD in Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the institution. His research interests span clinical trials of anti-infective agents, including antimalarials and antibiotics, as well as antihypertensive and antidiabetic medications. He is also actively involved in research on sickle cell disease and mental health. Dr. Olofin has presented research findings at seminars and conferences across Nigeria, Africa, Asia, Europe, and America. He has received several competitive travel grants, including support from the Gates Foundation, and has published in reputable high-impact journals.

Dr. C. M. Kamaal, MBBS, DCH, MD (Pharmacology) is a Professor of Pharmacology & Therapeutics at SMMH Government Medical College, Saharanpur, India, with dual specialization in Pediatrics and Pharmacology. With over two decades of clinical experience and more than 16 years in academic pharmacology, his work bridges clinical practice, rational therapeutics, and medical education.
He is the Founder and National Coordinator of the National Association of Pharmacology and Therapeutics (NPT), a pan-India professional body dedicated to advancing academic, clinical, and research excellence in pharmacology. Dr. Kamaal is also Associate Editor of the National Journal of Pharmacology and Therapeutics and a certified assessor of the National Medical Commission (India).
His academic interests include clinical pharmacology, pediatric therapeutics, competency-based medical education, pharmacovigilance, ethics, and good clinical practice. He actively contributes to national and international academic forums, promoting ethical and evidence-based use of medicines.

Dr. Khushboo Bisht, MD, DM (Clinical Pharmacology), is an Assistant Professor at AIIMS Nagpur. She specializes in translational research and clinical pharmacology, with particular expertise in pharmacokinetics and pharmacometrics. Over the past decade, she has authored 15 publications indexed in PubMed and holds an H-index of 4. Dr. Bisht is also an Associate Fellow of the National Academy of Medical Sciences.
