Welcome to the 2026 HERDSA Annual Conference online registration form.

Registration fees can be paid by EFT or online by Visa or MasterCard. Simply select your preferred method of payment when you reach the payment page. If applicable, please ensure you forward your confirmation email and invoice to your accounts department for processing.

Early bird registration fees are available up to Friday 15 May 2026 (midnight AEST). Standard fees apply from Saturday 16 May 2026.

Anyone who registers for onsite attendance, but then at a later date is unable to travel to the University Town, National University of Singapore, will be transferred over to a virtual conference registration type and will be refunded the difference in price up until 5pm Friday 19 June 2026.

Student registration is available for those who hold a current Student Identification Card. To be eligible you will need to upload a copy of your student ID card or a written statement from your supervisor verifying your student status during the registration process. 

To receive the member registration rate, you must hold a current HERDSA membership at the time of the conference (July 2026). If your membership is not current, you will be invoiced for the difference between the member and non-member rates or asked to renew your membership.

Expressions of interest for being a HERDSA session chair

A Session Chair is a person who is responsible for overseeing a specific session at a conference, ensuring that everything runs smoothly. The role includes moderating the session, introducing speakers, ensuring that time is adhered to, and facilitating any discussions or Q&A sessions.

Pre-conference workshops

The pre-conference workshops will be held on onsite only on Monday 6 July 2026 at the University Town, National University of Singapore. 

Registration for the onsite pre-conference workshops are AUD$100 each. The TATAL full day workshop is partly subsidised by HERDSA as a benefit to members. Delegates registering for the TATAL full day workshop will receive morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea.

Delegates registering for a half-day workshop will receive either morning tea or afternoon tea. Those who register for two half-day workshops, will receive both morning tea and afternoon tea, however lunch will be at their own arrangement.

Are you a new HERDSA member? The HERDSA Executive warmly invites you to the New to HERDSA Breakfast, an informal gathering designed to help newcomers feel welcome and included in all aspects of the Conference.

HERDSA Social Tours: Explore Singapore

We’ve curated three fantastic tour options for delegates to enjoy — a complimentary experience included with your registration.

Each tour is a guided, English-language bus journey featuring live commentary and insights into Singapore’s key attractions along the route. Please note that participants will remain on the bus for the duration of the tour and disembark only at the final destination.

After the tour concludes at the final destination, you are free to explore, dine, and enjoy the sights independently. Return travel to accommodation will be at your own expense. The organising committee will provide information to delegates on how to use the MRT to get back to their hotel and/or Grab.

Accommodation has been reserved on behalf of conference delegates at several hotels near University Town, National University of Singapore. Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and is subject to availability. To secure the conference accommodation rates, please select your hotel and required dates below. The deadline for booking accommodation is Monday 1 June 2026.

Cancellations

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the conference organiser.

  • Registration cancellations received by 5pm AEST on Friday 17 April 2026 will receive a refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of AUD150.
  • Registration cancellations received after 5pm on Friday 17 April 2026 but prior to 5pm on AEST Friday 5 June 2026, will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees paid and 100% of any function tickets paid.
  • Cancellations received after 5pm AEST on Friday 5 June 2026 will not be eligible for a refund.

Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the conference organiser is advised in writing.

Payment of registration fees may be made by:

  • EFT - please deposit into the HERDSA Conference 2026 bank account. Banking details will be on your tax invoice which you will receive via email.
