All delegates, sponsors, volunteers, and staff at WCP2026 are expected to abide by the following code of conduct, which applies throughout the event. By registering for the congress, you agree to abide by this code of conduct. If you feel you are unable to abide by this conduct, you will not be able to register for this event.

The organising committee encourages communication and behaviour that is respectful with every interaction, and aims to create a supportive, non-judgemental, friendly, inclusive, and professional learning environment for everybody to enjoy. Our ‘Code of Conduct’ helps to uphold these community values for our delegates, sponsors, volunteers, and staff. We recognise all Australian laws relevant to Discrimination and Sexual Harassment (Anti-Discrimination and Human Rights Legislation Amendment (Respect at Work) Bill 2022) and are committed to the safety of our attendees. We want all attendees to feel safe and supported in raising any concerns about breaches of the code of conduct with us.

WCP2026 is an inclusive congress, and has zero tolerance for discriminatory or harassing behaviour of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to: yelling or swearing; abuse or slurs; inappropriate behaviour or language; physical threats; harassment or intimidation; unwanted advances of a sexual nature; taking, damaging or disrespecting other people’s property.

We ask all delegates, sponsors, volunteers, and staff to be particularly mindful of their behaviour during licensed networking events, and we support our venues to enforce Responsible Service of Alcohol standards.

If a person demonstrates behaviour consistent with harassment or discrimination, the congress organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or removal from the congress.

How to report issues and where to find support:
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of congress staff immediately. Congress staff can be found at the registration desk. All concerns will be addressed confidentially. With your permission, concerns may be referred to the Congress Leadership Group for further consideration.

Early bird registration fees are available up to Wednesday 1 April 2026. Standard fees apply from Thursday 2 April 2026.

Lab visits

As part of WCP2026, EMCRs will have the opportunity to visit a range of world-class research labs across Australia either before or after the congress (12–17 July 2026). 

These lab visits offer unique insights into cutting-edge work in clinical pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, drug discovery, aged care, respiratory health, pharmacology education and so much more! 

EMCRs will engage with leading researchers, tour state-of-the-art facilities, and explore collaborative opportunities in areas such as precision medicine, therapeutic drug monitoring, education innovation, and more.

Accommodation has been reserved on behalf of congress delegates at multiple properties until Monday 8 June 2026. Accommodation will be allocated in order of receipt of bookings and is subject to availability. To secure the congress accommodation rates, please select your hotel and required dates below. 

Please note, accommodation has been reserved from 12-17 July 2026. If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the congress, please specify your requirements in the 'additional nights required' field during the accommodation booking process.   • If you cancel your registration for any reason before 5pm on Wednesday 1 April 2026, you will receive a full refund of monies actually received, less a cancellation fee of AUD110 incl. GST;
  • After 5pm on Wednesday 1 April 2026 you have no entitlement to a refund of any amount.

If any changes occur to the congress as advertised, reasonable endeavours will be made to arrange for reasonable substitutes, subject to availability and the circumstances that made the change(s) necessary or desirable. Notice of substantial and material changes will be placed on the website. You are responsible for checking for such notifications/alerts prior to the Event.
