Australian Foundry Institute 60th Annual National Conference
On behalf of the AFI Queensland Division Conference Committee, we thank you for attending the 60th Australian Foundry Institute (AFI) National Conference, held at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise from Thursday 8 to Saturday 10 October 2026.
The conference has officially come to a close and what a fantastic few days it has been! Bringing together members of Australia’s foundry industry, the Conference provided valuable opportunities to share knowledge, explore industry developments and strengthen connections across the sector.
Held at Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, this year’s Conference celebrated 60 years of the AFI National Conference, bringing the industry together under the theme “Queensland: Beautiful one day, ‘Pouring’ the next”. From technical presentations and industry discussions to networking and social events, there was plenty to enjoy throughout the program.
