A smart casual dress code applies for all conference sessions and social functions.
Insurance
It is strongly recommended that delegates take out adequate medical, travel and personal insurance before travelling.

In the event of industrial disruption or other unforeseen circumstances, the conference organisers accept no responsibility for loss of monies incurred by delegates.
Name badges
The wearing of identification badges is mandatory and will be required for admission to all sessions and conference social functions.
No smoking policy
Delegates should be aware that smoking is not allowed in public buildings and many hotels and restaurants throughout Australia, including the conference venue.
Parking
Complimentary car parking is available for all delegates for the duration of the conference (subject to availability).
Transport
The Gold Coast is a vibrant, beachside city with an extensive public transport network that makes it easy to get around. Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise is centrally located between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, just a short walk to the beach, dining, and shopping precincts. It is easily accessible by tram, bus, taxi, and rideshare.
Go Card
Go Card is your electronic ticket for travel on all TransLink bus, train, tram (G:link), and ferry services in South East Queensland. Simply top-up your card, touch on at the start of your journey, and touch off at the end. Fares are automatically calculated and are cheaper than paper tickets. Cards are available for a refundable deposit of $10 (adult) or $5 (child, concession, senior), and can be purchased at retailers such as 7-Eleven stores, tram stations, and Queensland Rail ticket offices.
G:link Tram (Light Rail)
The Gold Coast’s light rail service, G:link, runs from Helensvale in the north to Broadbeach South in the south, with stops at Surfers Paradise, Cavill Avenue, and Broadbeach. Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise is a 3-minute walk from the Florida Gardens Station, providing convenient access to key attractions, shopping, and entertainment areas along the coast.
Bus Services
Regular bus services connect Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach, and other major destinations along the Gold Coast. The closest bus stop to Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise is a short walk from the hotel on the Gold Coast Highway.
Trains
Trains connect Brisbane to the Gold Coast, with stops at Helensvale and Varsity Lakes. From Helensvale Station, you can transfer to the G:link tram, which takes you directly to Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. Taxi
Taxi ranks are available throughout Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, with cars also able to be booked to the hotel entrance.
Uber & Rideshare
Uber and other rideshare services are readily available on the Gold Coast. Simply download the app, book a ride, and your driver can collect you directly from the hotel.
