Registration

Registration is now open for the Australian Foundry Institute 60th Annual National Conference.

Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of payment (not the registration date). All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and include 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Conference registration pricing and details

*Apprentice/ student registration – To be eligible you will need to upload a copy of your student/ apprentice ID card or a written statement from your supervisor verifying your status during the registration process.

 

Registration inclusions

Full registration includes:

  • Attendance to all keynotes and conference sessions on Friday and Saturday
  • All morning and afternoon teas and lunches
  • One (1) President’s reception ticket
  • One (1) conference dinner ticket, subject to availability. You must select attending during the registration process. 

Day registration includes:

  • Attendance to all keynotes and conference sessions on their selected day
  • Morning and afternoon tea and lunch on their selected day
  • One (1) President’s reception ticket
  • The conference dinner is not included. Tickets can be purchased during the registration process, subject to availability.

Please note: Accommodation and travel expenses are additional to the registration fees. Accommodation can be booked as part of the registration process. Further accommodation details and pricing can be found here.

 

Register online

When you register online, you will receive confirmation of your registration straight away via email including a tax invoice.

If you do not receive this confirmation email, please first check your spam folder then contact the conference organiser via afiqld@expertevents.com.au.

 

Payment of registration fees

All payments must be in Australian dollars (AUD). Payment may be made by:

Credit card – MasterCard or Visa. Note that payments will appear as Expert Events on your credit card statement.
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Details provided on tax invoice.

Payment is due 14 days from the date of registration or prior to the commencement of the conference (whichever is first). If you are seeking the early registration rate, payment must be made prior to the early registration deadline.

 

Cancellation and refund policy

Cancellations must be advised in writing to the conference organiser.

  • Registration cancellations received by 5pm (AEST) on Thursday 30 July 2026 will receive a refund of registration fees, less an administrative charge of AUD150.
  • Registration cancellations received after 5pm (AEST) on Thursday 30 July 2026 but prior to 5pm (AEST) on Thursday 27 August 2026, will receive a refund of 50% of registration fees paid and 100% of any function tickets paid.
  • Cancellations received after 5pm (AEST) on Thursday 27 August 2026 will not be eligible for a refund.

Registrations are transferable to a colleague at any time prior to the event provided the conference organiser is advised in writing.
