Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise is a 4-star IHG hotel perfectly located between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. Room rates and information

A discounted conference rate of $235 (inc. GST) per night is available for all delegates at Crowne Plaza. This rate includes one buffet breakfast at Relish Restaurant. Additional breakfasts can be booked at a special rate of $25 per person.

The Run of House Rooms offer comfortable, well-appointed accommodation with modern amenities designed to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

To take advantage of the conference rate, bookings must be made online as part of the registration process.

Cancellations and changes to your accommodation booking

Please notify your requests for changes or cancellation by email directly to the conference organiser via afiqld@expertevents.com.au.  Cancellations made within 8-30 days before arrival will incur a one-night accommodation fee, charged to the credit card provided at the time of reservation. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the confirmed booking. 

Payment for accommodation

Please note that payment for accommodation is not taken at the time of registration; however, a credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your room with the hotel. If you will not have the credit card at check-in because it is a workplace card or not in your name, you will need to complete a credit card authorisation form. Please email the conference organisers at afiqld@expertevents.com.au to request this form.

From 30 days prior to arrival, guest’ credit cards will be charged a deposit equal to one-nights accommodation. The remaining balance of the booking will be charged to the credit card within 7 days of arrival. All credit card payments incur a merchant service fee of 3% for Diners & JB cards and 1.5% for other credit cards, in addition to the total amount payable. 

Check-in/ arrival time

Check-in is available from 15:00. If you would like to guarantee that your room is ready before the standard check-in time, we recommend booking and paying for the night prior to your arrival.

Early check-in requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed unless the room is reserved from the night before, which will incur an additional night’s charge.

Please provide your estimated time of arrival when booking. If you are arriving after 18:00 and do not advise us of your arrival time, your room may be released.

Check-out/ departure

Check-out is by 11:00. Late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge, depending on the time of departure. Please note that confirmation of late check-outs can only be provided on the day of departure.

Extending your stay

If you wish to extend your stay prior to or following the conference, please specify your requirements in the additional nights required field during the booking process. Availability and rates will be checked with the hotel before your reservations is fully confirmed.

Car parking

Complimentary car parking is available for all delegates for the duration of the conference (subject to availability).
