Biography

Kok Xiao-Feng, Kenan is a Senior Learning Analyst at the Centre for Learning Environment & Assessment Development, Singapore Institute of Technology. He conceptualizes and conducts institution research studies and works with faculty members to design and develop education research studies to evaluate the effectiveness of applied learning. As an avid writer and researcher, Kenan has published several journal papers in various international journals and has presented papers in both local and overseas conferences. His research interests include regulation of learning, collaborative learning, cognitive load theory, and productive failure. He is particularly interested in the efficacy of learning interventions targeting collaborative learning and regulation of learning in impacting the learning outcomes of students from various subject domains at higher education. Kenan is also a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) candidate at the Nanyang Technological University.

Biography

Colin is a PhD student at Lund University’s Department of Educational Sciences. His research interests are higher education curriculum theory and practice relating to large-class lectures. He is also Head of Digital Education at Brunel University London, where his team support faculty in their use of educational technologies.
