Shashi Nallaya is a Senior Lecturer: Academic Development at the Teaching Innovation Unit, University of South Australia. Her niche areas are assessments as well as language and literacies. She represents her colleagues on UniSA's Authentic Assessment Steering Group and was instrumental in the curation UniSA's authentic assessment definition. In her academic development work, she regularly works with staff to build their capacity to design more authentic assessments. She also undertakes research to explore how teaching and learning can result in positive student learning outcomes and experiences. Shashi also currently leads UniSA's Summative Peer Review of Teaching portfolio.

Biography
Sheridan Gentili is the Director: Teaching Innovation Unit (TIU) at the University of South Australia. She has a Ph.D. in Physiology and a Graduate Diploma in Biostatistics. As Director, she works with colleagues across the University to deliver strategic teaching and learning initiatives including the Authentic Assessment Project, and UniSA Online. She also provides leadership in the area of academic integrity at UniSA. Sheridan is passionate about helping build staff capacity by recognising excellence and empowering academic staff to translate their discipline expertise into transformative learning experiences for our students, drawing on the latest in curriculum design and delivery, and technology.
