Rachael Murray, PhD, FHEA, AHEA Indigenous, is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Biomedical Sciences at QUT, Brisbane. Rachael teaches Cell and Molecular Biology subjects, and her research interests include authentic assessment for biomedical science students, online teaching tools and student perceptions of teaching.

Dr Bern Conlon has expertise in market research, specialising in choice modelling and marketing mix modelling, and has consulted for a wide range of domestic and international companies, across a range of sectors, in particular FMCG, Telecommunications, Finance, Transport, and Government. He has also held senior quantitative analyst roles in the financial industry developing models for market and credit risk, for Australia’s largest financial institutions, including the implementation of the Basel Accords. He currently lectures in Business Analytics at The University of Sydney Business School.

Simone Faulkner (nee Grabowski) is a leading mobilities researcher in the UTS Business School who specialises in sustainable tourism, community development, cross-cultural and diversity management. She teaches in the Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Management Programs at UTS and is also the First and Further Year Experience Coordinator for the faculty.

Biography
Dr James Wakefield is the MBA Program Director and a Senior Lecturer at the UTS Business School in the Accounting Discipline Group. James' research focuses on applying technologies and strategies to improve student engagement, belonging and learning outcomes in accounting and business education more broadly. James has an extensive track record of undertaking and publishing impactful education research. He has received awards based on the impact of his work from organisations including Universities Australia, the Australian Business Deans Council, Office of Learning and Teaching, Accounting and Finance Australia and New Zealand, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and UTS. He collaborates with several external organisations, including Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and Inclusive Action for the City, to enhance stakeholder outcomes through more effective educational practices.
